Kangaroo Stew # 366 Shed Chat and the MF20 Bonnet

Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our website available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

    Great stew Lance as always. It was good to recognise Rich Beeson and both he and his family appreciated it. The MF 20 does look very good on the bonnet. That is a good tip to connect the two batteries in parallel to recover the very flat one. Good luck.

    Nice looking boxes, at least in video, with those pallets, almost look like mine carts.

    Hi Lance, I hope you don't mind, I told you last week about a pump on a David Brown 990 that was smoking after a pump reseal. We realised today that we hadn't bled the bottom bleeder on the cam advance mechanism . Did that, and the smoke instantly went!! Obviously, it is not advancing the pump cam. Another lesson learned.

    Lance if you run into the 'really' flat battery problem again with the CTEK battery charger, while you did really well by connecting it up in parallel with another battery, good move. But next time just put the CTEK in the 'Power Supply' mode for an hour or so, and then try it in the 'Normal' mode again, and finally when it's done with that and floating on Green, throw into Recondition' mode to give it a full wake up (if it's not already too badly hurt).

    About polishing, do not use a wax with silicone because it is difficult to put paint on top of it afterwards. C u next time 🇩🇰

    I used to have one of those seats. They are good but if you leave the tops off the cans you can end up with a wet leg 🤣 pine here is much better than the stuff we used to get in the UK they grow it real fast there.

    There are sponge sanding blocks Lance. I wrap around them 😀 Did you try your angle strip discs yet?

  • @BundyBearsShed

    @BundyBearsShed

    22 күн бұрын

    Yes the strip discs went ok. I find I do prefer the needle scaler on castings as it leaves the rougher texture. I have always just used the flip-flops for sanding. $9.95 and I get 4 to 6 blocks out of them, old habits I suppose.
