KANGAROO, EMU AND CROCODILE PIZZAS AT THE AUSTRALIAN HERITAGE HOTEL IN SYDNEY

Kangaroos, emus and crocodiles are all well known Australian animals - but I travel to Sydney to get a taste of the local flavors, on a pizza. Throw in some fresh barramundi, a delicious kangaroo burger, and a piece of beautiful pavlova for dessert, and it’s a meal Steve Irwin, Olivia Newton John and Ja’mie would all be proud of. It’s off to the Australian Heritage Hotel to get a true Aussie experience on a plate that you can’t really beat as a truly great pub feed!

I had the peppered kangaroo pizza which was awesome! The crocodile was bland, but not nasty like the alligator I ate in a New Orleans restaurant. Beats me why you would risk killing a croc when you could just sneak up on a chicken with less risk. Peking Duck pizza was also good, the garlic prawn needed, yes, more garlic. I am also glad to see you warning people about the dreaded drop bears. The only thing known to repel them is rubbing Vegemite behind your ears. Or urinating on yourself, that works too. I will definitely go back for the 'roo with emu. I've had ostrich in a Malaysian restaurant which I'm guessing is similar.
Pavlova is kiwi not OZ :P
