Inspector General of Police KAKOMA KANGANJA has directed all Police officers to use force and deal with political cadres who are intimidating officers during the election period.
Mr. KANGANJA says it is embarrassing to see Police officers being disrespected by cadres on some videos which have been posted on social media.
Speaking at the School of Public Order Maintenance Kamfinsa in Kitwe when he sent off one thousand 2-hundred and 30 Police recruits to police the General Election, Mr. KANGANJA said the use of force is allowed by law.
The Inspector General of Police has directed the recruits to be firm, impartial and fair as they police the elections.
