Its a great light not gonna lie, it gives it a different look. My rx looks amazing. Only downside is battery life on my rx. I went on a 6 delivery ride for doordash and it was almost half way on the battery. I may order their separate battery when its in stock again!

Love that light. So glad you could install it yourself. I was surprised that it was $175 for it but the larger size makes it safer to see and it looks more aggressive than the smaller one. 👊

Definitely feel a lot safer with this one. Someone almost pulled in front of me today but saw my light and stopped. I think it’s just what i needed.

You know, that is a great question. I did notice a little bit. But I’m going to properly test it again to make sure. Could of been my imagination.

Can I add this light to any ebike kit? I have a 48 volt 1000w that I put on my cruiser and I really like this look.

You sure can. As long as you have the 3 pin adapter on your bike or you external battery pack

What tool did you use to remove the screws to take out the original light? Mine’s on so tight it feels impossible 😢

Hey Corliss! It’s been a while since I did the video but I’m pretty sure I used an Allen Wrench. Can’t remember the size but try putting different sizes until one fits snug. Hipe this helps!

Yes! As soon as you turn on the light in the controller it will turn on the new headlight (like the regular light). Then from there you can switch for standby (little light), level 1 (normal light) to level 2 (really bright).

Yep there’s definitely room! I put it right where it was but instead of above the bracket I put it below the bracket.

I’m really curious if they still plan on making a light kit to buy for the ZX.

Ok so I just read the KaneBilt website. For the ZX they send you the pack. But SUPER73 is coming out with a step down cable to be able to run for that 5 pin wire that comes on the ZX. Then it says the wire actually isn’t for lights.

Is that compatible with other ebikes with plug in connector?

Good question. If you’re bike has a 3 pin higo cable or 3 pin bafang cable to attach it to (for power) then yes, absolutely.

Mine didn’t connect. My RX has a green connector not a yellow one. What should I do? Kane hasn’t responded to any of my emails. I think I got the wrong headlight.

I’m scared now. I just emailed them and Super73. I finished building my RX and no headlights work on it, stock or Kanebuilt! The taillights and horn work though so I’m safe from behind.

Yes. It just drains you battery quicker than the stock one.
