A few years back, I was dating a girl who I thought was someone really special. I could tell she liked me, but she was really nervous about taking the relationship anywhere, because of various events in her past that had set some really bad precedents. In the middle of all this, *this song came out,* and I couldn't believe it! It was basically our relationship word for word, and so the next time we were together, I told her, "I want you to think about this," and then I played this song for her. Yesterday she mentioned to me that this was a pivotal moment for her because her background was bad enough that the optimism displayed in this song was a perspective that she had literally just never considered, and that it helped her look at things a whole different way. We've been married for over 3 years now. Thank you, Kane, for helping me seal the deal with my true love!

I'm not familiar with Kane Brown. Understandably, he is a new artist. I heard this song for the first time yesterday on the radio and being that I listen to a lot of country, hearing that voice, I am picturing a typical country artist motif. The Boots and hat. The salt and pepper beard. That homely smile and then I watch these music videos and I am blown away by the man I see singing. just goes to show that you can come from any background, ethnicity and of you have the chops, you can lay down some Full blooded Country sound. He is country pop so not technically country. Got a lot of the melting genres in there. You could drop a trap beat over this and its the same with a different tone.

Love this song! I’m 55 and grew up listening to classic country, and classic rock; however I pretty much like all kinds of music. Everyone should be willing to keep an open mind and heart which is what this song is talking about. The girl in the song has been hurt and dealt with some jerks but the guy is telling her he is in it for a lifetime!

I at 43 have gone country. I was rock and rap all this time until I heard this man. Within the last 3 days I’m now buying pearl button up western shirts and loving it

I'm not old but also no longer young. I absolutely enjoy the new current country music. I think I like this guy Kane most of all. Rarely does ANY modern country moves my soul quite like the 80's mostly 90s country I grew up on. But this guy gets me there.

I really didn't like country music, then I heard some of Kane Brown's songs and I instantly loved all country music😍❤😄😜

This is not even country it’s a disgrace to country, if you wanna listen to real country listen to Luke combs, Johnny cash, hank Williams jr, Riley green.

Not a big country, but this one touches on so many genres. Their voices blend really well. Great job!

My wife and I did a super cool country swing dance to this song at our wedding last Saturday! Blew everyone away when they were expecting just another simple two-step to a slow song like at every other wedding. Everyone was on the dance floor afterward! So fun! Amazing song!
