ALL FACTS. I never reply or leave a comment on anything. But had to say this. Life would be so much better, if we all just stayed in our lane, by not getting discouraged by what someone else is capable of doing. The word hater wouldn't even exist. Salutes to OG Murff....... Right on to the Real, Deaf on to the fakes.

Big Murph is the originator AKA The man who showed and taught everyone what a real DONK IS. BACK IN THE DAY WHEN BIG MURPH SHOWED THE WHOLE WORLD WHAT it takes to build a complete show car DONK. IT SEEMS LIKE it was over 15 years ago when Big Murph came out with the first real DONK with h a big block Chevy with a super charger and a couple kits of nitrous. After the car was completely finished and the first car show Big Murph took the car to people's jaws dropped to the ground after seeing the car for the first time. And ever since everyone has been perfecting the DONK ever since.

You don't know anything whatsoever about what you are talking about. You obviously have never been 'personally' involved with a Full-Blown restoration to the absolute highest degree. It is the most unprecedented amount of true HELL that you could possibly ever imagine, to manually take each and every single piece apart on a truly comprehensive frame-off restoration. The world's best quality paint jobs, are only accomplished when each piece is done separately and independently. This can take months to properly accomplish, and costs over $10,000 alone. Most shops just use masking tape, and paint everything on the top surface in one piece. That type of paint job is pure GARBAGE. This amount of work is enough to make most people feel compelled to quit and give up in the middle of the project, which is why so many people end up eventually abandoning the project altogether, rendering countless projects 'unfinished'. You actually expect somebody to go through all that HELL for 'free' labor???

Pay me now pay me later. But you will pay me! My man is giving you straight game. I am in the collision repair business when I was really doing restoration work guys would want to always short change on the body and paint work. But when they saw what I do then they started to understand why I would charge like I do. No one shop does everything in house and are actually good at it. It’s better to pay once then to pay twice.

150k? Whether you sale dope or you come in clean, these shops taking advantage no matter how you look at it. Simple economics " if it's a demand, supply it". Ask these shops how much of that 150k is profit and you will see the real cost of these cars, cause I know the owner is not doing this for the "culture" or for a few dollars.

Then you have the brand-new high-quality full wire harness to re-install, from scratch. It is a serious safety hazard to re-use the original old factory wire harness that is multiple decades old. Then you have an unprecedented amount of new rubber bushings and bolts to install, and not to mention the dauntingly expensive project of getting everything professionally re-chromed. And everything I already mentioned is just barely the tip of the iceberg!! And you actually expect somebody to go through all that hell for a grand total material and parts fee of only $25,000??? With FREE labor??? You obviously didn't even watch this entire video!!!

Memphis 2 Houston far as restoring there is a shop called griffin and son they do all the engine and body work and far as painting well no Memphis does not have anyone that can build or paint on Florida quality . I’m letting Griffin and son do all I can not to my 75 vert then I’m go load it up and either try a shipin Houston or Atlanta. Guys here can do it but we’re talking 2 years minimum on a complete build lol I worked at a shop on mount Moriah and dude could never build a quality car and be complete in the same year of start

If I already have a descent vert body that's running good. I'll drop the top I don't need ac yet lol U get what you pay for. If you buy a rust bucket with a bad motor for 5k you have a long road or U can buy a descent one with surface rust, no ac, and maybe a bad top for 12-15k. It's up to u This just a quick build you pull on the trailer to the classic or to the hangout every now and then. Don't try to drive to the classic in this lol
