Kothrud vs Vadodara should be interesting as lots of Maharashtrians reside in Vadodara. Vadodara is known for it's Sev-Usal, Duliraam Pedhe("Aamchi kuthehi shakha nahi" place ), Jagdish for delicious farsaan and Baroda Prints fabrics.

I am a kothrudkar. I live in Kothrud since past 27yrs (and that's how old I am). I sometimes feel these episodes are a little too far fetched and repetitive. If you really want to connect to Kothrudkars and also want to introduce Kothrud to larger audience, please give references to Durga cafe, Nal Stop, ARAI, MIT, Metro, Karishma, Sheetal Hotel, Malgudi Tiffins, Shivaji Putala, Dahanukar, Waari book cafe, Swikar chi tapari, DP road, Schools like BSM, KHS, Abhinav, Nm-Bhide-Valve classes and there is so much more!

Chitlaes' ridiculed for this but once the 4th generation explained this he said the original brothers used to run the Milking process which would start very early say 3-4 am and hence they would close the shop at 1.. by the way siesta is common in Spain and Middle east .. lets see if people can ridicule Spanish and Middle eastern traditions!
