Kamov Ka-26 helicopter crop dusting near Tab, Hungary
This Kamov Ka-26 was manufactured in 1973 in Kumertau, Russia. It flown in the CCCP then Lithuania between 1973-1992, was used for small transport flights in registration of CCCP-19481 and later LY-HAB. After 1992 she was bought to Hungary, and flew in the fleet of Belavia Rent. After few years Agro Air II. bought her and took to Őcsény, where she was operated till 2000.
After spending 17 years in the hangar, this is the second season when she flyes again.
The day when we visited the team they sprayed colza field.
Ezt a Kamov Ka-26 helikoptert 1973-ban gyártották Kumertauban, az egykori Szovjetunió területén. Szovjet, majd litván lajstromban repült 1992-ig, majd a Belavia Rent Kft megvásárolta és és bérgépként repült az Magyarország területén.
Pár évre rá átkerült az Agro-Air II. flottájába, akik Őcsénybe vitték és 2000-ig permetező feladatokra használták. Mivel a csapat további két Ka-26ossal is rendelkezett, HA-MZE-t leállították.
Majd 17 év hangárban töltött idő után az idei a második szezon, amikor a gép újra repül.
Látogatásunkkor a csapat repce földeket permetezett.

I don't know who designed the Ka-26 but anyone that could dream up a helicopter with counter-rotating rotors and twin radial engines is my kind of guy. I dislike cookie-cutter designs and the Ka-26 is no cookie.

Lehetséges, hogy a pilótafülkében történő felvételkor a műszerfalon a repülési sebességet és a magasságot lője le?
Mezőgazdaságban dolgozó ismerőseim azt mondták, hogy az Unioban betiltották a légi permetezést, csak a szúnyogirtás engedélyezett ebben a formában. Légy szíves felhomályosítani, hogy lehet, nem lehet hogy lehet. Elég nagyvonalakban is. Előre is köszönöm.

This helicopter from Russia did not have a single parallel or perpendicular part. Production using hammers, axes and sledgehammers excluded the possibility of parallelism and perpendicularity. These helicopters did not even have interchangeable spare parts. Having purchased a spare part, it had to be processed with a hammer and file to the size you needed.
