Kamchatka Russia is a fly fisherman's dream destination for so many reasons! The epic adventure of flying in an old Russian Army helicopter across some of the most remote fish habitat in the world to get to untouched waters is something that catches the attention of every angler. The WFWP crew gets dropped of on the Two Yurt river to float and camp for a 6 day float. Virtually untouched rainbow trout willing to eat streamers and mouse patterns at any given time of the day. This episode is the journey to get there, the top part of the Two Yurt River and the start of their Epic Adventure.

Alas, Kamchatka didn't happen last year, and it seems doubtful that it will this year. Maybe 2022.

I talked with Will last week and they are still going forward with the flights from AK but who knows. Fingers crossed everyone can operate this summer
Cool place, but if this video is any indication then the Kvichak is still the pinnacle of fishing for rainbows. Also - Will Blair used to send us all e-mails once a week talking about how Kamchatka would be ruined soon and if we didn't "act now" then we would miss out on fishing while we still could. Did the mine start production yet?

Yeah the fishing we experienced wasn't the greatest as we had a very slow salmon run that year but the other rivers fished spectacular lol. No mine as far as I know yet

I think the reason he keeps adding a N to Kamchatka is because he is dyslexic Bahahaha Who knows man with this crew
i wouldn't go that far just to catch rainbows when i could catch bigger ones in wyoming... and so much cheaper

Yeah Jason that is a lot of peoples answer to this trip for sure BUT it is the adventure you are going for on top of the rainbows on this trip. Everyone has their bucket list trip for sure! Where Would you pay to go?

Yeah that shotgun was so epic! It only had one hammer left on it also
