the advice they were giving was terrible, for the first 2 rounds that were extremely close the only thing that idiot said was 'you need to break his will'. While Usman was actually getting technical advice and being told where Colbys' weaknesses were and how to exploit them.

I would agree. I think the only thing that kept Colby in this fight was his desire for the belt. All the other cuts, bruises and broken jaws literally didn’t matter to him because he wanted to win so badly. Usman is just one of the greatest welterweights of all time, literally no explanation needed for why he was able to win this fight.

It’s also my favorite sequence of any fight. For some reason it always sticks in my head. I think it’s because it looked like a video game or something. Trading blows to the head without any defense

After rewatching this a few times I really see how tough Colby was to continue fighting after a broke face and continuing to get hit.. You really have to want something very bad to continue fighting after taking such hard shots. Respect to both fighters.

Thank you! It really annoys those who focus on his personality. I always say he’s a well-rounded fighter that brings it every fight. People need to stop focusing on the facade that he puts on and focus on the fact that he’s a complete savage that dominates his opponents except for Usman.

Man…I don’t know how this fight doesn’t have more buzz around it but that was one of the best contest of wills I’ve ever seen in my life. Both men laid everything on the line. Much respect to Colby by Kamaru just has nightmare power in his hands. Colby was definitely lighting him up at points and that uppercut was no joke. Inevitably those body shots set the stage for the jaw to suffer the damage it did. Honestly wish it wouldn’t have happened and that they could have kept fighting. Amazing

When Colby kicked Kamara at 9:45 that was a liver shot he faked a nutshot and that saved his ass I've watched his fight 30 times now and that is a fact

Legkick to the head like from cannon does not help anyone and has lifelong consequences. Recently I saw video about some WWE champ who'se brain in his 40 was like he's 80 because of head attacks he often performed. It was creepy af, his XR looked like dried wallnut. I don't really want to imagine what happened with Kamaru's brain after that ONE kick but surely it influenced his motorics and so on. Brain is extremely strong and fragile at the same time, which is fascinating but also scary. Also I saw someone commenting that Kamaru's knees are bad.

It was known in close circles that kamaru has bad knees, then Joe Rogan basically blabbed to the world that he was close to not being able to fight. I don't think kamaru will ever have a dominant performance against top level well rounded fighters anymore. His wrestling style has changed completely to favor his upper body.

Amazing stamina!!! Amazing fight!!! Both warriors no mather who won! This is a true title fight! Insane how Colby tried to get up constantly over and over at the end!

At some point in his career, Usman looked so very formidably invincible. Then suddenly Leon finished him by one single lucky kick. Now, Usman just looks like another human fighter.

This is the best UFC title fight of all time idc what anyone says

I love back and forth fights. This and Rory v Robbie 2 are my favorite fights of all time

Always better to watch a classic fight over, non biased, and that was a brilliant fight! Could easily have been 2 all in to the 5th but the injury to the jaw was the teller and the shots were a killer in the fifth, Usman smashed it.....literally!

Top Fight. One of the best UFC fights in History and possibly ever. Respect to both Legends. Usman getting a good revenge from the taunts he received in press conferences from Colby is satisfying to watch. Colby humbled by Usman. But both got great die-hard personalities and Usman looked more poised and saved energy for that one shot to end it. Real Street Fight for the Ages

Covington put so much stress and anxiety through marty that usmans hairline just said "Peace Out my Brotha" 😄 Colby won the hearts and respect of the MMA fan base after this, while usmans hairline was so embarrassed bc deep down he knew he lost...lost the fight and his hair lmao

5:40 you can tell they both enjoyed the fight and that they're on the same wavelength!! Usman to this day keeps saying that this was one of his favourite fights.

@@rush7996 Усман симулянт, это видно в моменте, где Колби ему якобы в пах попал, но там был чистый удар в корпус, а Усман за яйца схватился, чтобы передохнуть, так что симулянт в этом бою - Усман

@@InDisskyS131 well fighter safety is meant to be a thing, and tbh while Colby was still able to continue I don’t think he was any real threat of beating Usman at that stage so all he was doing was taking more unnecessary punishment

one of the best fights I've ever seen! truly incredible 5 round fight, I'm not going to lie I was so happy to see Usman beat the snot out of Covington lol! props to Covington for continuing to fight with a broken jaw, that wasn't an easy task and he still gave it his all even with the broken jaw. Usman showed nothing but poise throughout the entire fight, proving once again why he's the champ and one of the very best in his division!

2:2 после четвертого. Первую половину пятого взял Колби, потом тот пропущенный удар и всё пошло наперекосяк... И всё же считаю, что остановка была ранняя.
