Bah bah that was beautiful to watch! If I had to choose 3 favourites, in 1st place it would be Karbalaee's because it has that perfect traditional tone. In 2nd place I would choose the Australian one because every single note has clarity to it and the bass notes are heart melting, almost like a cello. Not that traditional obviously, but still very pleasing to listen to. In 3rd place I would choose your 30 year old buddy :) Which one is your favourite Kourosh? By the way you spoke it appeared to me that Maestro Ebrahim's is your favourite.

It seems like it would be just a little bit easier for a cellist than (me) a violinist. We both have an understanding of the strings, but the left position is closer to a cello (minus the thumb position :-) ). As for bow hold - very close to a German double bass bow hold. Very interesting!!

Greetings from the Sonoran Desert. The sound just pulls you in then releases back out, filling everything with ears - stop and listen. Question can they be tuned differently, like a ukulele or a violin? How does different music styles sound? Thank you for keeping music alive-
