ハリガネムシが1匹の時は太くて長いのがいますね。複数匹いる時はだいたい細くて小ぶりですね。カマキリの腹の中の容量に合わせた大きさって感じですかね。

Spinochordodes tellinii is a parasitic nematomorph hairworm whose larvae develop in grasshoppers, crickets and more. This parasite is able to influence its host's behavior: once the parasite is grown, it causes its grasshopper host to jump into water, where the grasshopper will likely drown. The parasite then leaves its host; the adult worm lives and reproduces in water. S. tellinii does not influence its host to actively seek water over large distances, but only when it is already close to water. And then it repeats the cycle!

I watched a movie before about people jumping in watery areas and it was because they have parasites. So I guess this is where the movie was inspired from. Hmmmm. Is that possible to happen to humans?

No, they are harmless to vertebrates because they cannot parasitize people, livestock, pets, and birds. They also do not infect plants. If humans ingest the worms, they may encounter some mild discomfort of the intestinal tract but infection never occurs. There are other scarier things that happen to humans, though but this worm is not something you hv to worry about.

milkweed _ those worm basically modifies the mantis brain for it to suicide in the water after those thing have emerged. After that, they lay eggs in the water and the offspring worms presumably feed on the poor mantis.

全消アンチ そうです まず、ハリガネムシがカマキリを操るのはハリガネムシが成熟しきってハリガネムシ自らの意思で外に出ようとする時のみだとされています こうやって水につけて半強制的に出している場合はそれに該当しません また、ハリガネムシは捕食寄生ではないのでカマキリの内臓を圧迫こそしますが食い散らかしたりボロボロにしたりということはありません 自然なら最終的に出る時に体に穴を開けて出てきますが無理やり出した時は尻から出ているので死ぬほどではないです(4匹一気に出るのは流石にイレギュラーなのでかなり負担が大きいとは思いますが) ハリガネムシに寄生されたカマキリがすぐに死ぬというのは成熟しきったハリガネムシが自発的に外に出る時の話です ただ、ハリガネムシがいるだけで内臓が圧迫され機能が低下すること、栄養を取られるためそれだけで弱ってしまうことなどから寄生された時点で短命になることは仕方がないことと思われます

Dear Tryin to Live The next morning, this mantis died. Probably because the mantis hurt the internal organs when this parasite comes out. Because the behavior of the parasitic mantis is strange, I can generally distinguish the presence or absence of parasitism. This parasite grows in the belly of the mantis, and then it breeds underwater. I am interested in insects and organisms parasitizing on them, so I like to observe.

It's a nematomorpha. Some other common names for it are "horsehair worm" and "Gordian worm".
