Fantastic Joe I think that I might have the only Right handed JoeTisserie out there as the ComboJoe cannot fit the motor unless it is modified. I also drilled a hole into a pice of hardwood dowel then sanded flat on one edge of the round so that the rod slides threw. The flat side enables the lid to close. This helps close the opening to prevent the airflow keeping it to a minimum

What keeps the JOETISSERIE! in place so that it is registered properly on the gasket. Does it have some inner brackets which touch the inner walls of the ceramic to keep it from sliding?

It looks like the "Joetisserie" either changed directions or camera changes were made during this cook. At some points, the top of the roast was spinning towards the camera, at others, it was away. What gives?

Kamado Joe warranty is useless. Customer service is even worse. Try to get something replaced. Will never happen. Their reps are trained to do everything they can to deny claims.

All looks great. I just struggle to understand why Americans naturally reach for, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs. Why..... I mean why? Why on earth do you not use fresh ingredients. In Europe (not being rude) you couldn’t give that stuff away.. the taste difference between fresh garlic and garlic powder is simply mind boggling. But, seems...... that’s what Americans do. Just don’t seem to know what fresh (fresh) food is, please, I mean please, don’t see this as any unkind attack. But..... why use that crap? Why? Why not use fresh?
