Tried this out last weekend and my wife and neighbors all said it was the best prime rib they have ever tasted! Really appreciate your videos.
Yep, I can see the JoeTisserie changing the way that people use Kamado Joe cookers. That rib roast was perfectly cooked John!!! Excellent cook and I like that you showed the progress during the cook. Much appreciated and I cannot wait to get one!!!
I'm speechless that piece of looked amazing!!!!!
Outstanding John! That looks really good, can't wait to get my hands on a Joetisserie!
Great video John! Out in San Diego watching and telling new Kamado Joe owners to watch every video you make. Thanks!!
Wow, loving the Joetiss! That roast is cooked to perfection, cheers man!
Wow I've got to get me one, the cut is so beautiful when it comes out.
John.... I live your reaction when you bite into it. I don't have a kamado Joe... But I do have an Akorn and the cooks have been awesome. Best tasting food I've grilled. Thanks for all your video's.

Big score John. I want one for my Big Joe. That was an awesome Cook!
That looks awesome!
That Prime Rib Roast was cooked to perfection.awesome cook John.
Very cool indeed John! Dig on the whole concept of using a rotisserie with a Kamado! Roast turned out PERFECT!
I have made this John when you first posted this video. I did not comment but it excellent. Thanks. Going to make it for my Birthday in 2 weeks.
man that looks awesome John...found my next accessory purchase
Hey John I haven't dropped a comment in a while, just wanted to say all the cooks have looked great. I'm happy for your success, you've come a long way since mancave meals. congrats brother, keep up the great cooks:)
I’m definitely going to try that
Fantastic Joe I think that I might have the only Right handed JoeTisserie out there as the ComboJoe cannot fit the motor unless it is modified. I also drilled a hole into a pice of hardwood dowel then sanded flat on one edge of the round so that the rod slides threw. The flat side enables the lid to close. This helps close the opening to prevent the airflow keeping it to a minimum
Doing this cook tomorrow with a 6lb boneless Snake River Farm Wagu Rib Roast. Thanks for the tips!
When will this be available for the big joe and anyone know the cost?
Hi John, What is the purpose of having the coals on one side of the grill instead of spread out? Thx
hi John, did you cook it mainly with the lid closed? On the clip it looked like you had the lip open a lot
Hi John I want to ask why you push your charcoal to a side when using joetisserie? Thanks
John, would it be beneficial to install felt on either side of the Joetisserie?
I know this is a bit of an old video, I am curious where do you get that charcoal from?
do you leave the lid on or off for this one?
Great video John! When will the rotisserie be available?
Can you put a drip pan in the kamado to catch the drippings for Yorkshire pudding and au jus?
Hey John! I know this is an old video but I just purchased my joetisserie for my Big Joe 2 and I'm doing a 2 bone prime rib... wondering if you found that lighting the whole box is ideal or do you Lite half the box with a divider for joetisserie cooks
What keeps the JOETISSERIE! in place so that it is registered properly on the gasket. Does it have some inner brackets which touch the inner walls of the ceramic to keep it from sliding?
Where can you order a Kamdo joetisserie Classic?
Lovely video and awesome meat! This rotisserie kicks asses ;)
Do you close the lid while cooking ?
you didnt say why you pushed the charcoal to the back of the fire box
Do you have the grill closed or did you leave it open? From the video, it looks like you have it closed most of the time?
What is the largest standing rib you can use? We will be feeding nine at Christmas. Looks delicious.
Studying up for my first joetisserie prime rib! Any new advice?
What is the cost going to be for the Big Joe?
Dear Santa... See me here drooling over this video?
John: will the Big Joetisserie work on the XL Gig Green Egg?
Did you leave the lid open the whole time
curious why you don't use the Joe Blow? I love mine!

John, Great looking roast! My mouth was watering. When will the Joetisserie be available for the Big Joe? I cannot seem to find one on the Internet so I am assuming Kamado has yet to develop one yet. Any insight?

Beautiful. Lid open or closed for the cook? Open would create an inferno, wouldn't it?
Hey John....Please make this Joetisserie for my dad's Minimax BGE...You'll sell a ton ..I guarantee it
Awesome video! The Jotisserie is just one more reason I bought a KJ. Innovation by this company. Well done John. $249 seems like a far price too.

Can't wait 😁
What's the secret to your diet? You're looking good man.
Yet another example how Kamado Joe is innovating, rather than being stagnant in the marketplace. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm a lifetime customer! Looking forward to seeing these on the shelves soon!
Wonder what kinda price you guys are gonna be asking? $200??

close the lid
It looks like the "Joetisserie" either changed directions or camera changes were made during this cook. At some points, the top of the roast was spinning towards the camera, at others, it was away. What gives?

old message, but turning the unit on/off/on toggles the direction of the rotation.
Kamado Joe warranty is useless. Customer service is even worse. Try to get something replaced. Will never happen. Their reps are trained to do everything they can to deny claims.
That's not medium rare. That's barely medium.
All looks great. I just struggle to understand why Americans naturally reach for, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs. Why..... I mean why? Why on earth do you not use fresh ingredients. In Europe (not being rude) you couldn’t give that stuff away.. the taste difference between fresh garlic and garlic powder is simply mind boggling. But, seems...... that’s what Americans do. Just don’t seem to know what fresh (fresh) food is, please, I mean please, don’t see this as any unkind attack. But..... why use that crap? Why? Why not use fresh?

I use fresh herbs. I grow my own except garlic. Rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley and oregano are always available in my yard.
Need the total cook time please
