YOUR EX WIFE can't make or accept this type of proposal.. her life is going into the care of your son. When will she get a break, sir? Neither will society accept or clap for her if she does, like many are doing for you. You could've left her much earlier when she was younger and able to attract another man and have more support and kids. OR jointly gone to therapy to solve your and maybe her childhood trauma which is the actual cause of your misery (lots of parents have disabled kids and arguments, not everyone's marriage breaks down). Instead, you chose to dump all responsibilities on her almost past middle age (no living apart and spending time now and then with your son is not the same) and now selfishly attached yourself to this young lady. The human brain doesn't even stop developing till 25, and we need a few years of experience after that to really understand ourselves and make better choices, especially true if there is trauma like most people have these days. EXTREMELY SELFISH on your part and you are trying to gloss it over and sell it as a lifestyle. Wake up!!
