Плачу від цієї пісні 😢 два роки тому, у свій день народження, їхала додому, до батьків. По радіо грала ця пісня… І тоді в душі було радісне передчуття від того, що скоро побачу рідних. Дома не була 7 років на той момент, через війну, а на сьогодні - від міста залишились руїни. Тепер, коли прослуховую цей трек, серце просто виє від болю. Так хочеться обійняти Дідуся, так хочеться додому…

Я завжди плачу від цієї пісні! Коли бабуля та дід були живі згадую......Дякую за реакцію!

That song is about the very first home. Like for most Ukrainians is that home where we left our childhood and we still remember it after we grew up. And as for me my first home was with my grandfather at the village, so yeah. I miss those days.

I'm right there there with you, man! I love everything Kalush does too. And Kalush Orchestra. Very talented and genuinely good guys. Skofka is really growing on me also! The title phonetically is Dodomu. Those are Ds. and the y is pronounced 'oo" or u. The o's are pronounced as "long o" like in "home". 2nd syllable is emphasized. I am trying to learn the language.......it's not easy!
