Home depot has that exact particle board with predrilled hole (or you can drill your own) and it would be so much cheaper to make yourself with just slots. I'm sure you could do drawers too, I'm just not that handy lol

I really LOVE these and the whole system really would serve me so well for many purposes! Housing costs are high, so effectively maximizing space is critical. I definitely need it for crafts (scrapbooking, journaling, photography, cross stitch, couponing) and office supplies. It would really help maximize food storage, as well as rotating it too. Our sons need more space for their things, so this would maximize their bedroom spaces. Our budget isn’ big, so it will take awhile to save for all of our dreams. I love how the drawers are more sturdy and can hold 12 pounds each! We have a lot of IKEA cubes, so I’m very grateful to maximize their space. Your system and IKEA’s system look good together, so that helps a lot. I LOVE how the IKEA cubes have been so flexible with several moves. This system is flexible like that too! It makes a huge difference as life changes. I also like how as the years go on, these may be very helpful to our children and their homes when we’re ready to not have them anymore. Whether our children have them or someone else, it looks like they will serve whoever uses them well for a very long time! So, for now, your products are on our dream list. We’ll save and do what we can to make these dreams come true. Whatever we can do, it will be a blessing. Thanks for your products .

Hey did you find it ? I couldn’t find that spacer system on their website. Do you know whats it called?

Here's what I just did to sort small nuts, bolts, and parts to customize my Hot Wheels. Amazon had a small 7" x 4" plastic organizer that has 15 compartments in it, and come in a 15 pack for $13.99. Then, I just bought 100 used full sheet cookie pans and 5 racks on wheels, each can hold 20 of the pans with 3 inch spacing. The full size pans are 26" x 18". So I will put all of my small parts in the small organizers, then put 12 organizers on each cookie sheet. In total, it's 325 square feet of storage. I paid $550 for all 100 cookie sheets and the 5 racks, all on ebay, and picked up from a local restaurant supply store. It's a ridiculous amount of storage ! So overall, with the 5 racks side by side, it's about 8 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 6 feet tall. So only 16 sq ft of floor space for 325 sq ft of storage.

This is a great system! I liked the original draw system but I don't need to buy more units. I just needed drawers for my existing units. Great video! Oh and love the slippers, they are too cute! Just wondering if this system will also fit in the units (same kind of units just different brand) from Target and/or Walmart?

These are designed to fit in the IKEA Kallax unit. Other cubes will vary in dimensions.

I wonder if you guys could come up with a basket/box insert... like the old Tjena boxes IKEA used to have. They've since resized the Tjena boxes and the current ones are much smaller than the previous ones. We have a bunch of the old Tjena boxes (I believe they used to be about 13" cubed, perfectly fitting inside the Kallax cubbies) in our multiple Kallax units. The current ones they sell are 11.75" cubes, which is disappointing. What I loved about the old Tjena boxes was that you could paint them as they were made out of a sturdy cardboard, so I could paint the boxes to perfectly match the room. Man, I miss those boxes...

Hi Cynthia, Yes, this system will work on other cube shelving systems. The cube opening needs to be 13-1/4" wide x 13-1/4" tall x 14" deep for the Storage-Add-on for IKEA to fit.

Hello what is the exact name on the website? I only see the racks. Its real difficult finding the inserts. Do they come together as a kit? Is that why there’s no description on the site?

Are there draws that would be at least 20cm x 20cm deep to store 45's.?

No, the deepest drawer we have is 3 inches.

Can you use this with other types of storage cubes from other stores?

They are specifically sized for the IKEA Kallax unit. We would recommend checking out drawers by Stamp-n-Storage which are built to slide in vs adhere to the sides.

They no longer use the rails and now use dowels which kept falling out of holes while putting together. A bit cheap in my mind.
