Kallal Wedding | Sindhu & Sethu
It was half an hour morning ride on the state highway as it weaved itself through vast open fields interspersed with water creaks and canals. The gentle morning light was making its way through the tree canopy scattering its shadows over and around the highway, "December would be the best time to see around Tamilnadu" said Anirudh as my neck began to ache of all the 'craning out' of the auto rickshaw's compromised vision area.
Quite a sea contrast to the recent flooded parts of the state we were coming from. "Nothing much is left here saar, proclaimed the auto driver.
Most of the well informed and educated had vacated over the decades, finding the arid climate too hard to make monetary sense off. Yet the Chettiar's held on to their ancestral home.

This wedding video is one of the best I have seen in the recent days. The bride looks so natural without the excessive make up we tend to see these days. It was like a page from the past. It made me feel very nostalgic. I wish this lovely couple a beautiful life. AWESOME.
