I got mine in a couple weeks ago, I adore it! Got it specifically for small campsites/house parties. The deep freq range sold me, as I like it low! 2 of em make 129db ;)

I hate dip switches. Put a dial on it. Still a good speaker. Great review.

Bro, thanks for the review. Do you know the crossover frequency when used with the Kali lp6 dip switch setttings on 0 as in the manual? I have the lp6. Am interested in this subwoofer

Yes, a simple on/off is what you need.

how on earth do you connect this subwoofer to the monitors. RCA cables don't seem to work. I have AI connected to Monitors via TRS cables and Sub connected to monitors via RCA

I'm only using them for my music but can't seem to get them working with my power amp" I'm not sure how to connect them,😤, to my mixer? or crossover? or maybe equaliser, gotta ask the man.

you should go directly from your mixer to the subwoofer... then from the SUB out to your other speakers. How is your EQ and crossover connected?

im between getting this and hs8s , i have hs7 in my booth. what do you suggest?

a subwoofer in a studio setup is a game-changer! Go with the sub and get the HS8's later.

@@kareemthedream6084 thanks for the reply man. I think I couldn’t make my self clear :D I already have a pair of Yamaha HS07 speakers. Now I’m in the market for subs. I’m between getting Kali Audio WS-12 and Yamaha HS8S… I play vinyl and bass heavy stuff like dub&dubstep so I want that low end. What do you think about those two subs, I didn’t see a video by you about HS8S.

@@dylnz Understood! I thinkt he Yamaha HS8 sub will be better as they will match the sounds of the HS07 speakers better. This WS-12 may be too much bass for that flatter-sounding setup...

Yes you can... There are many ways to do it.

Of course you can. Just plug and play. There’s nothing to it. Nothing special. And actually dual subwoofers are recommended by professional mix engineers.

I own the behringer b1200d, how does it compare to that? I've had to resort to the smaller sub woofers as I got older to save my back. I own a few larger non active subs but they will never leave the house again 😃 at least if I have to lug the solo!!!!

I think they Behringer may be better for gigs, and this one will be a little clearer and better for the studio.

YES! I am using mine for my home theater and it is INSANE!!! I actually have 2 for my home theater setup and it sounds incredible... Better than any other personal/private theater I've been to and definitely beating out the movie theaters as well in bass...

wow that's really large for a small studio haha.
