Who wouldn't be somewhat spoiled when you have been on a 17 year run and do what no other has done. Any fan on any squad would be that way. I mean look at Georgia fans. They win two Natty's.back to back after 40 years and now they think they should always be number one and they should always play for a championship

Bama lost over 30 players to the NFL and the transfer portal. But Deboer and the staff have crushed it in recruiting. Picking up Ryan Williams, Noah Carter, and the guys in the transfer portal was absolutely huge!

Alabama will enter next season with 19 players that have been named a 5 star by a major recruiting organization. 15 of them are composite 5 stars. We had 18 last year. Team is still the most talented by recruiting metrics in the country. People just can’t fathom that losing 30 players doesn’t take you out of the elite level. Well… at Alabama.. it doesn’t. Still loaded.

It sounds kinda crazy but, I'm pretty sure, I agree. It stopped the bleeding and turned heads back towards the Crimson Tide. He plays to his potential, which is capital B Ballin, the Tide will make deep cuts in the elite receiver to OSU pipeline. Roll Tide.

He wasn’t gonna get the same treatment/money with the new staff!! They already have their own guy that they brought with them…Austin Mack!

I think that getting Austin Mack and letting Sayin leave was a huge mistake. I do support Deboer but I think that was a BIG misstep and it will come back to haunt us.

@@duitf2 It’s because Sayin doesn’t fit the system Grubb and Deboer run. His arm strength wasn’t “good enough”. Would much rather have let him stay on the roster, but I understand the thought process. UW didn’t even offer Sayin, so they’ve clearly never been that fond of his game at least for their specific system.

@@hudsonstovall8119 I understand what you're saying but Saban was VERY high on Sayin as are both 247 and ON3. It's hard for me to believe that he wouldn't fit into DeBoer's system. When you look at the tapes of each kid you see why Sayin is the better pick. Either way it's a moot point now, but like I said I think that it will come back on us.

@@duitf2 Sayin’s arm strength doesn’t fit the chunk play system Deboer likes to run. Plus, he already prefers Mack over Sayin for reasons I simply have to trust him on. We’ll be fine.

Julian Sayin took over 200k in NIL money from Bama then transferred after 2 weeks. Not getting that money back. It’s getting ridiculous now. If they want to get paid as professionals, they should have to sign a contract like professionals. Patrick Mahomes can’t randomly transfer whenever he wants because another team offered him more money. Mahomes is under contract.

These are exciting times. The transfer portal has become a revolving door. These kids are being bought. However, Alabama is still Alabama and will continue to compete with the Big Boys. I'm sure that Nick Saban gave his stamp of approval on the excellent Kalen DeBoer hire. ROLL 🌊 ROLL!!!!

I remember a young QB coming out of California. He was so good. Everybody just knew he was going to start at Alabama. He started in one game. Got benched and replaced by a freshman from Channel view Texas. The rest is history. After that every quarterback Alabama got played better than the last. If the game was just about what is written on paper, we would never play the game.

I Bond has been replaced by G. Bernard. Adding Ryan Williams puts the Bama Wr room into another stratosphere. Seth has been replaced by a more accurate center. Adding a hybrid athlete like Noah Carter, who can play several positions on both sides of the ball, is huge!!

We lost more talent because we have the most. Even without these transfers coming in, Bama was going to be just fine. We literally have 4&5 stars waiting in line to take these guys spots. Look at the depth chart. Bama is loaded if you do your research

I'm disappointed in Caleb, Amari and Isaiah. They left the program with no hesitation with them knowing they are the leaders we were looking to after coach retired, that for me shows us the type of men they are. I felt this so hard and I born, live and never left Jamaica, imagine how the people in the state feels and the alma mater. But still nothing but prosperity throughout for all you gentlemen on your journeys.

Bond and Niblack left for money I’m pretty sure. Downs makes sense though because he was recruited by the GOAT (who is a DB coach) and TRob. Once both were gone, he’s left hanging. So he went to his #2 option out of HS (OSU) and got a bag of money to go with it. I don’t blame him at all, and I wish him the best. He carried out D last year, and I thank him for that.

Good get for Bama keeping one of there talented local kids home. Think DeBoer should probably think inside out. Saban was the draw for a lot of national kids and when he left a lot of them left because they were committed to him and not the school. This kid seems to be committed to the school and good for them.

Bama fan here. Yup, that was definitely our biggest loss. Hard to replace talent and work ethic like that. Wish him well, though.

It’s still war eagle over here but regardless it’ll be exciting to see how he grows as a player overall even tho it won’t be in orange and blue he still only 16 is crazy

Allow me to say this. I believe the Alabama Crimson Tide is better off without Julian Sayin and Caleb Downs and any other player? who decided to transfer because Nick Saban is no longer there. Yes, there is probably talent there, esp. Caleb Downs, who made a statement as a freshman, but if you as a player, have to be bought, what does that say about you. Take 200K from Alabama and then jump ship, Julian Sayin...?! That speaks volumes without saying a word. No honor there. No loyalty to the team or the program or what you could be at the University of Alabama. The SEC is now a super conference with the best players and coaches and what better place to prove yourself than in the SEC. I believe it would be in your best interest to play in an NFL incubator. Play with the best in college football. If you can excel and be dominant in the SEC against the better teams I believe you are ready to play in the NFL. I am so disappointed in the next generation. Their philosophy? It's all about me.

Football is a team sport. One player won't change a game. It takes all 22 players on offense, defense and the players on the special teams to win a game. Just because someone said these guys were one and two in their class don't mean anything. There are four classes on a team ever year. This guy is a clown and just pushing none sense.
