Absolutely love this and there's no such thing as waste fabric...... Anything left over is just waiting for inspiration..... Even the tiny bits have a life either as stuffing or compost, like the way Kate from TLHH uses them for her garden ❤

I loved the first rendition of this block, but this is better. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern. The only recommendation I have is to remember the “heat disappearing pen” does not totally iron away. It can come back in cold climates and after washing. Ask me how I know.

Tracy, I bet I watch just about every quilt tutorial on you tube. However yours are different. When watching you I feel as if I am sitting in your sewing room with a friend I can totally relate to. Thank you for that. At this time due to health issues I don't leave the house without my son being with me in case I decide it's a good time to faint. The cardiologist is fixing me soooooo I have alot of sewing time. Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials ❤

This is a fabulous pattern. I think I prefer this one to the previous pattern that was similar but had more pieces. There is a lot of waste fabric. I think I’d cut it into squares rather than leaving it as a single piece with all the holes. Trying to fold fabric that has been fussy cut like that is a nightmare. You could also do another quilt with the leftovers or use them to make the setting squares and borders.

This is a wowser! Too difficult to pick a favorite!

I love your design thought. I'm all for something different. I think I've had enough stars for a while. I was looking for ombre fabric on line, wasnt too impressed. I'm like, ombre should flow into the next shade. So many had too sharp of tone delineation, like striped.

I've 👍 lots of ☝️ comments like "Wow!" and "Jaw-Dropping!" One little tip: I have one rotary cutter devoted to paper-cutting. I write "PAPER" on a used blade with sharpie. Besides quilt designing, it's good for gift wrapping and other paper-cutting projects.
