This is the same guy who came up with a MIND CONTROLLING AI because he couldn't be bothered with actually coming up with products people would actually want to buy. Which is hilarious because 99% of the job isn't even done by him. R&D is the one actually *developing* the projects/products. Marketing is the one actually advertising the product and company. Production well....produces the damn thing and finances allocates the budget for everything. What does Kale the CEO even do? Give his thumbs up?

I like how Tango Gameworks followed that message so closely Releasing the game without any promotion, Game not being $70, contents being unlocked through gameplay rather than buying them like a cluttered seasonal DLCs, releasing an almost flawless game that didn't require a heavy day 1 patch like todays Triple A game company Like holy shit is this the PS2/Gamecube era or what!?

@@guts-141 at launch it had glitches, but it was working lol. My Graphics card(RX 580) was producing green artifacts in textures and flickering (but it was weird because sometimes yes, and sometimes no lol). Yesterday they release an update and everything was fixed.

It’s kind of funny that Kale didn’t want to end up having defects that could impede his plans, and he inadvertently ends up making the exact thing that screwed him over.

I think what I love about Kale as a villian is that he's not "evil" per say...he's a jerk that's super lazy and doesn't want to put effort into running a company and gets irritated when nothing goes his way.

@@witchhatter When I say "evil" in quotation marks, I generally mean in the typically ways most video game villains want to do things like take over the world or something like that. Kale doesn't follow the typical villain model of games like this, because yes while his methods are pretty extreme, at the end of the day he doesn't care about running a company or putting any effort so his motivations are just to serve his own laziness. Which is kind of funny and also kind of refreshing.

@@akihisaisback7437 in could hear it the moment he opened his mouth. Roger just has a distinct way of talking like most VAs. The other suggestions here are good guesses too but again those VAs unique nuances in there voices too. It's hard to explain exactly what they are but it's definitely there.

I don’t know if anyone has noticed this but I love the detail here, the X button is chai’s attack and the partners attack is Y 14:28

considering that the assits in cannon are via some handwave teleportation, the boss explosions are likely not fatal, but it is still a bit funny how casual everybody is about being complcit in a possible fratricide. oh yes mindcontrolling your own mother is horrible but casually causing your brother to go supernova is fine.

Hearing Sonic/Ezio play the bad guy is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Handsome Jack, voiced by Sonic T. Hedgehog, with Adam Smasher level of cybernetics. I present the perfect villain.

14:03 I got this line to play on one of my best runs against him and if I messed up the qte one more time I would've died which made the fact that I did end up winning so much more hype

I really like Kale as a villain. Nothing deep, but his snark, sloth, pettiness, and self-flattery amuse me.

Thinking about main goal of Kale's plan gets revealed, kinda feels and reminded me of Johnny Sliverhands and Arasaka in Cyberpunk 2077, with the Rockstar fighting against the corporation and how they fight them head on

I like how he considers ipod as symbol of loser or something like that

Given what his end plan was, his "wanting the best of the best" and getting "losers" comment probably means he was looking for people with a lot of money and disposable income to spend on his products. He sees the ipod as being a cheap and outdated item and thus emblematic of someone without said income. Which to be fair he was right on the mark on given Chai is implied to be unemployed at the start of the game.

“And no defects” Unfortunately for him, he involuntary made Chai a defect by throwing that Media Player. Bro can’t even follow his own orders

Force people to super praise Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder, Quantumania, heck the entire 2nd Saga of the MCU enough that they don't make rant vids or critique it. Force people to watch the DCEU just to make money an ensure its survival. Force people to buy the most expensive yet glitchiest, cringiest, buggy, spec heavy, and/or unfinished game to make money like Cyberpunk 2077, Scarlet and Violet, Halo Infinite and Forspoken. A world full of perpetual and forced positivity rave and no criticism. Scary right?
