1998! i was 16. Stealing my grandmas gospel tapes za akina kasanga and dubbing kalamashaka on it. Second verse always got me "Mabeshte kule ghetto waliniita Al-Pacino njaro zangu na squad ya watu kumi na mbili kama ya Jesus nilitamani njaro za credit cards na visa constantly kwenye kona nakumbuka nikiona yule mzee akishikwa koo balaa! nashindwa nikimbilie nani jambazi?hapana! polisi?hapana! wakanipiga pingu bila hata sababu! Maisha ni magumu nilikataa elimu mama yangu alidhani mimi ni wazimu. Siku loose hope nikaanza ku drop lyrics moja kwa moja pata heshima kama pope smile siku zote piga nduru wengi toka ghetto wamenawiri!

I was in class 3 in 1999 exactly 1 yr after they had released this song and I remember I dubbed it on my dad's cassette by an Arusha based gospel group. The LP was labelled Lulu but i took it and dubbed this song on it and I rapped it word by word and I can say I became a rapper then. This week [11/5/2015] I have been chasing Johnny Vigeti to get his latest Album named Mr Vigeti.
