Following its successful release across Bangladesh on Eid-Ul-Azha, Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan starrer “Toofan” has garnered massive interest among expatriate moviegoers after its global release.
The Raihan Rafi-directed film was released in more than 100 theatres in 15 countries on Friday, except for India where it was also scheduled to be released on the same day.
The film was released on its due date across multiple theatres in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, France, Portugal, Netherlands, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
Later, the film’s Indian producer Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF) said “Toofan” will have its India release on July 5, one week after its international release. This was also confirmed by Bollywood’s esteemed film critic Taran Adarsh.
