This one of the best lofi songs i have heard in a while
This channel is so quality, yet nobody knows about it? Unfortunate.

OMG a really good song, i love it
You are a legend.
Love This Song! Awesome Job.
I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. My cousin was in the other room and it popped up on a lofi playlist he had playing and, despite how faintly I could hear it, it immediately started clicking all the exact right switches in my head and I had to go to his room to investigate. Since I don't have time to explain my thoughts on all the individual parts of this gem of a beat, I'll just point out the one aspect that I think really does it for me; the vocal track. It's this tender, feminine voice that seems so warm and softly joyful, yet with the volume low and the echo high it sounds distant and ethereal, like something carried on a summer wind at night, where anything louder than the surrounding chorus of crickets might snuff it out. It creates this beautiful, bittersweet effect of something utterly beautiful, but transient and fleeting, like meeting the love of one's life in a dream, only to wake up and find that the beauty of the rising sun now evokes a deep melancholy. And of course, as someone who translates 1000+ year old Japanese stories for fun, I can definitely see that your work, and this song in particular, is absolutely dripping with traditional Japanese sense. Stunning work my friend. Keep it up.

i love reading stories like this, thanks for sharing! that is so cool. it’s always really nice to get some backstory on how people connect with my music- it’s so much more rewarding than simply seeing the track got a play somewhere. much appreciated friend! 🫡

@@kalaido3667 To add to that, I also listened to it a lot while I worked in a cozy, little, local marketplace on the rural outskirts of a city of only moderate size, where the smell of fresh baked goods was always present in the store, and had tons of old puzzles and toys that had clearly been there for years, and everyone was happy to see everyone else. So basically, I associate this song heavily with the smell of sweets, the sight of antiques forgotten by time, and a quiet sense of joy.
