@@transranpo Personally the interplay of Hikaru and Keiko doing unison and harmony gives the edge for me.

3:15 Yuriko's voice came in via playback for a higher head voice harmony part than Wakana just finished. You can hear the difference in timbre and the vibrato in Yuriko's voice, and when Wakana joined back Yuriko switched to doing a high octave to Keiko's line while Wakana filled in the harmony part back. I never noticed this before.

keiko has been my most favourite member and singer in whole yuki kajiura project. her deep voice is just so stunning and... idk what word would describe it best. her voice is just so... deep, dark, beautiful... keiko!

If I ever do a cover band of Kalafina, I would probably be Keiko. Her alto voice is so strong and beautiful, and she's been an inspiration for me, especially in my choir days.

@@hasen_judi She is definitely adorable, and I love how she almost always has that goofy smile on her face as she sings; definitely looks like she has a lot of fun on stage. I'm torn between her and Hikaru's voice though - they're both so great!

Wakana's high harmonizations at 2:20 really make this song more dramatic.

Keiko at 0:57. Fans often wish she could sing like always but it only works in some kinds of songs such as this epic composition. Not for ballads and other types of solo pop songs. Unless Keiko styled herself as a fantasy artist like Haruka Shimotsuki and had the composer and musician backing to get good songs to sing. 1:20 The harmony was really sweet with Hikaru going from D4 to C4 to B3 in one long unbroken breath, before joining back at 1:31 with Keiko to support her with a smooth low harmony part! ❤❤ 3:57 the drive and slight distortion in Hikaru's voice gives a bit of harshness to the lyric. 2:01 Wakana and Hikaru having a nice harmony moment. 2:51 See Hikaru working those diaphragmmatic muscles to generate the energy! 3:08 Wakana with the floaty soprano section before Hikaru and Keiko came in beautifully at 3:14 with Hikaru going up beautifully in that passage. Without a good melody to sing even the best singers would not shine at their best... That's why these ladies are blessed and lucky they were selected to sing Yuki Kajiura's music and be exposed to really unusual melodies and harmonies. (Edited to fix autocorrect mistakes)

In fact, keiko in this song always reminds me of Akina Nakamori, a top idol of the Showa period known for her contralto voice, keiko has covered her songs

This is by far one of my favorite songs by Kalafina

I don't know why Wakana has little attention she just does a great job of emphasizing keikos voice, without her I don't know if this song is gonna great without wakana's rich high tingling voice.

The dual unison voices by Keiko and Hikaru increased the effect.

God! Hikaru doing a good job telling the drama! Meanwhile keiko doing great job as a haunted doll. Majestic!

Hikaru is the overall storyteller of the song. Keiko is an actor. And Wakana is more of the pure singer (less acting).

1:19 I imagine Kaori doing Hikaru's part in the lowest harmony and those long lines, because of the texture of her (Kaori's) voice. Curious...

The translation seems like it was done by google, many mistakes. However the kanji and romaji are valid and the performance was amazing.
