Kakadu: waterfalls, Indigenous culture and iconic Aussie wildlife
Come and explore Kakadu National Park, one of Australia's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a living cultural landscape! We kick off this adventure at the Yellow Water Billabong, parking our caravan at Cooinda Lodge. We also try our hand at fishing the Yellow Water Billabong, take a 4wd drive out to Maguk waterfall and experience the culture that Kakadu is renowned for!

Thank you, hopefully you put here in the not too distant future 🤞it is an amazing place Cheers Paul and Wenda
17:50 hiking sticks are very good as a single for balance. In tandem, they stop you're hands and upper arms from swelling up; they also assist the upper body when carrying a backpack of any weight.

Haha yeah they’ve been pretty good Thanks 👍
The Mary River Roadhouse was closed after that cyclone that went through there a couple of months ago. There is no one to fix it for a few months yet. And they have decided to update a lot of stuff so it will be closed for ages I think. So it is a long drive with no fuel stop so people should know that before leaving Daley Waters was it? And it should be noted on wiki camps and google maps etc. At $99 per night I hope every other thing was free! But I see as you went along they had many devious ways to lighten your wallet quite significantly! Did you get to keep your barra and the other fish you caught? I hope so. At $500 for 3hrs I would want someone to come cook it for me too! At least you got to catch one.

Thanks for the update on the Roadhouse. Pine Creek was the previous town you could get fuel. As for prices yeah Kakadu seems to have a levy on everything. Hopefully they are putting it all to good use. Unfortunately the Barra was a few cm too small and had throw it back 😢we had chicken for dinner. But I have finally caught a Barra 😉 Cheers Paul & Wenda
Don’t think me and my walker will be able to get there
