Когда нам трудно понять или объяснить причину происходящего, мы говорим "почему-то" "по какой-то причине"
1) Сегодня утром будильник на телефоне почему-то не сработал, и я проспала.
2) По какой-то причине компьютер постоянно вылетает, когда я открываю эту программу.
3) Она, почему-то , всегда избегает говорить о своем прошлом.
Как по-английски передать подобный смысл? Почему-то, по какой-то причине?

Hello! Английский очень гибкий язык со множеством вариантов сказать одну и ту же мысль разными способами. Потому, конечно, переводчик может дать только один из возможных вариантов. В Вашем переводе только "отменить" действительно лучше поменять на "cancel" или "call off". Кстати, как перенести или отменить что-то по-английски, у меня на канале есть отдельное видео. I feel tired (myself лишнее). Это у нас принято говорить «чувствую себя», англичане говорят «feel + как?»

Это тоже очень полезная английская идиома, которая означает «не могу понять наверняка». Смысл похожий, а вот применения в речи будет разным.
