We visited Kaiyuen Temple during our China trip and it was definitely a place you should add to your bucket list. Why? Besides being a UNESCO World Heritage site, Kaiyuen Temple houses the tallest twin pagoda towers that are witnesses to the rich Chinese culture you won't find in other temples.
The largest Buddhist temple in Quanzhou, China, Kaiyuen Temple, was formerly known as Lotus Temple. Inside, you'll find not only Buddhist birds, but Christian angels, and ancient Chinese goddesses.
