Kaitlan Collins pushes back on Trump attorney's 'brazen' argument over presidential act

yes shame of todays politicians cannot be denied - but the founding father's were no one to judge, lets just name a few examples of their morals 1- G- WASHINGTON keep the teeth of his slaves around his neckeneckbat his slaves and did not free any slaves in his life 2- Adams when president made anyone writing anything not true about him or his government illegal, which anyone writing anything the least critical about him was charged as sedition 3 Jefferson - The Civil war was used by him to make him Richer as he was a smuggler whos illegal smuggling business exploded in size and profit because of the war 4- John hancock - tax cheat, and all round crook you mean those people who's morals and actions were horrid LOL

Why does it matter if an act is a presidential or private act? If the intention of any act is criminal, then it should be chargeable.

I dont agree with the point of Trumps attorneys argument but ill say, generally, if any act could be chargable, multiple presidents would go to jail. Especially ones who were president during wartime and all of the actions done then. And I think thats the overall point. There are a lot of grey areas in being president and what is lawful and/or moral dont always coincide with what "needs" to be done. This would mean Presidents could (and probably would by opposing parties) be charged for a number of crimes the second they leave office.

@@thatoneguy3284 Presidents haven't been dragged before the courts as a result of their leadership during wars, that's nonsense. And other presidents haven't been charged with crimes upon leaving office. This whole deal has been brought about because Trump has committed criminal acts and doesn't want to have to pay for it. He's the only president to demand absolute immunity. Ask yourself why. It's obvious.

They explain throughout the SCOTUS trial. Trump being an ex-president seems to be targeted by a current president on possible crimes committed. The question raised was that if this is even slightly true, "is it precedence that every president could and should have the same treatment." They further asked about Obama drone strikes and George Bush. While Trump was in office, Obama was never tried. If he was, he too would have requested immunity. Trump runs for office, and now he's tried and requests immunity.

Isn't the president supposed to make sure the laws of the land are faithfully followed or protected in some way? and as for the bollocks chump says and others, "if this happens then no president would be safe" and "the president can not do his/her job properly without full immunity" etc, is so fucking stupid I can't believe they said such. Only presidents who commit crimes in office would be prosecuted otherwise there would be no call for prosecution.

Not just that, but he completely mischaracterized the times that alternate slates of electors were used in the past. In those cases it wasn't a secret, and they were only going to be used if their pending challenges succeeded. In Trump's case, the challenges had already failed, and the electors were either tricked or they were liars.

And she looks so sweet, and pretty, too! And Just now saw Kaitlan bullriding Barr. Wow, that was impressive. Sadly, it appears that bar has no integrity or self-respect.

You can see him just digging through his brain for spicy words like "check of constitution" "crippling government" "scope of immunity" to make himself sounds important and collins was just making him look stupid for defending indefensible positions.
