Kailua Kona Sunday Stroll- Kokua Kailua
Painted mugs Kailua Kona is BAAACK! The monthly Kokua Kailua stroll is back and it was full to capacity for vendors! The vibe in the air was fun, people were enjoying themselves and there was plenty of music, food, and unique items to make it a nice comeback after a hiatus due to COVID. We had a chance to interview a few of the vendors/small biz owners and they are just elated to be back in public view! Lots of Aloha was flowing!
If you want to attend, the event happens monthly, but you need to check the calendar as it flows with other events happening in the area during the month. Here is the link: historickailuavillage.com/koku...

I mentioned Little Hands Hawaii as the best reef safe sunscreen. They really do have an amazing product and I don't get paid to promote them, I just love their product and how it helps keep our reefs/coral from being damaged by chemical sunscreen. www.LittleHandsHawaii.com

Where on the internet is the T-shirt lady? It sounds like he says Deep Snow Designs, but I don't think that's it.

Wow nobody wearing masks! How refreshing! Oahu is still scared🤦♀️
Hello is it possible to live on the big island comfortably earning minimum wage, or doing an unskilled job like manual labor or working in tourism? everybody says it's so expensive in hawaii and you gotta work at least 2 jobs just to survive. and that there are no job openings in big island. a lot of negativity and discouragement. I watched a channel called island hopper. The guy stayed in hawaii and it sounds like you don't need to be rich or making 6 figures to earn a living. what's your take on this?

Aloha! The problem right now is not that there is a lack of jobs..its a lack of housing and the ones that ARE available are really expensive. Long time tenants are being left to fend for themselves while landlords are raising the rents 20% and more. It is. harder to live here than at anytime I have ever seen it. Seriously.
