When Rover came out I was in Mexico visiting my mother's relatives. Anyways, I had two choices that Monday: watch the MV on KZread and listen to the album on Spotify, or spend time with my family. The last night I was in Mexico, I was dreaming of hugging all my relatives goodbye, but after hugging my last uncle, the next in line was Kai! Going from his countdown live, where he was being cute and crying, to this mv right after was whiplash for sure. I'm not one to like dance tracks like this but this was so good! It has a nice beat and Kai sounds amazing! Kai said in his live that he was like the only boy and that his teacher loved him so much that (I don't remember what exactly) was free for him.. And like they had to buy ballet costumes for girls and alter it for him... So cute! Hence his constant game with feminine/masculine side. And I've always thought that boys with older sisters are a bit different, they're not afraid to be emotional and get women's emotions better. Kai's just perfect on all levels... 😍

The original producer & singer of the song posted the mv release on ig, bcus they're so happy & proud that Kai used this song as his title track! The id with "Billy Elliot" is referecing to a movie with the same name that tells a story about a boy who find passion in ballet & fighting the negative stereotype of ballerino at that time. Which fits so much to Kai as a ballet dancer himself & hence it's also one of his fave movie! & have u seen the hilarious interaction between Kai & SF9 Taeyang?? I'm so proud of him for this! 🥰 Performer Kai is one of my favourite sides of him and he definitely delivered here! This song had the potential to be annoying because of the repetitiveness of the chorus but it had enough interesting things going on that you honestly looked forward to the chorus when it hit. The movie references! 👏 I got Billy Elliot, Catch Me If You Can and even a hint of Reservoir Dogs in there. Loved that so much! This is also my favourite title track of his and potentially my favourite album of his.
