@@joshuaocampo3575 It was their debut concept. They were a group split in two groups of 6. One Korean group and one Mandarin group. They came from Exoplanet and each member had a power. Kai had teleportation, Lay had healing etc. that’s all I can really remember. The MAMA mv has a short about the narrative of their concept.

Nope , it’s not the staff’s that had chose for Kai the clothes, it was himself that chose everything literally. From the music video , the clothes etc . Kai is so versatile as always.

Everything about Kai's solo debut was INCREDIBLE. The man is art.

The reason the mv and the film is so amazing and well produced is because Kai invested a lot of his money into this. He didn't care about how expensive everything will be nor did he care about the profit because he wanted this to be perfect for us and for himself and he's so dedicated to his art. This is one of the biggest reasons why I have so much respect for him. He has respect for himself and his art.

@@chocohol6949 I don’t know the full scope cuz I’m not an insider but SM does put money into every artist’s music it’s just a matter of how much. SM did fund Kai’s project just like they would do with every other artist but Kai chose to invest more of his personal money because he wanted to make it a very high quality project and we can really see that through FILM : Kai. There is no way SM would’ve planned all those different outfits and scenes and given such a high quality production for a single artist. And that’s not necessarily SM’s fault because as we can see, this project is very high budget it’s not really realistic for SM to provide such high quality for every single artist for every release because they simply don’t have the budget and there are so many artists under SM. Kai just chose to spend money on it because he wanted it to be the best of the best and his hard work really payed off in my opinion. He chose to invest in the quality of his art rather than the profit he will be getting because obviously, when you spend more something, the less money you make in the grand scheme of things.

All the concepts, fashion, visuals was by Kai. Also they include his teleportation powers in the vid. At the end of mmmh mv, that is the announcement of DO and Xiumin coming back from the military. The theory is that they will have solo albums, or a new sub-unit or a repackage of Obsession. And yup, Kai's album is brilliant!!

The first time I saw Kai was the SMTown New Year's Day free concert. I instantly went, "whoa, who is that sexy dude." Such charisma. And the abs aren't hard to look at. I am definitely a fan now; I even had to look up the album on Spotify and give it a listen.

Honestly, BTS is what finally roped me into K-pop and after months of diving deep into their discography I somehow stumbled upon *Lay* . From Lay I discovered ExO. And seriously, with EXO there has been no end. I keep finding new music from them every other week. EXO is amongst maybe 5-6 artists in my life, band or solo , that have made me love their WHOLE ass albums. I'm not the sort of fan who listens to entire albums just because I love the artist, music comes first for me, I do not obsess or chase stars or actively participate in fandoms. Its not my thing, but EXO has kind of changed me. Their solo projects and group projects, I have been listening and I keep finding new music of theirs to love. *KAI* is super talented. Artists like him allow many people like set engineers, fashion designers, stylists, graphic illustrators, choreographers, directors to showcase their skills with freedom because of his versatility: sing, dance, act, be charismatic, style, be conceptual etc he can do it all and more. Thanks for reacting to Kai :)) And I do agree with you 100% ExO's discography is very unique and right up there with the gold standard.

Kai and his team went off! I love the R&B/retro vibe of this album! I really recommend checking out Monsta X's new album too! It has those similar R&B/retro vibes as well! 👌

It’s all about body bumping, this album is fire! Been on repeat since it came out!! Exactly how I felt Bris, he killed me!! One of the best albums this year!!!! 🔥🔥😍 He’s a BEAST as usual!!! No he VOICE/DANCE/AND DAMM VISUAL super talented!!

He literally did all of this and we didn't know anything about it. The amount of work he had to do must have been insane. The album is just really a vibe!! RESPECT !
