During a recent interview he said he has never practiced his facial expressions. He just lets the music flow and reacts to it while performing. I think that is why he is very well known for his facial expressions while dancing because they are so genuine. If you see multiple performances for one song you will notice that his facial expressions will not be the same even though its the same song.

Kai has the best facial expression when dancing...he's just so charming on stage that you can't help but focus on him...I admit it but I don't know why no matter how charming kai and try to bias wrecked me...my eyes still can't help but follow my bias kyungsoo...I'm such a loyal person😂😂😂imagine how hard it is to be loyal.
