Kafi accha video bana diye bhai. Lekin apne ye to bolna hi vul gya. Jab NJP Shatabdi diesel se chalta tha, tab ek Siliguri DLS ka WDP 4 locomotive usko power deta tha. Tab Howrah to NJP Shatabdi Express diesel se chalne wala sabse tej raftar shatabdi ban gya tha. Filhal is train ko WAP5 aur WAP7 me se koi ek locomotive khichta hai.

I don't know why IR has given 20000 series numbers to these locos.. Originally these numbers was given to iconic WCG-1 Locos and 20066 onwards WCM-1 TO WCM-5 series. This series further extended to WCG-2 locos then WCM-2 locos including 2 units of WCM-6 locos. Unfortunately no records are found on these early DC traction electric locos on social media like your channel. Jai Shri Ram!

If you want to know difference between WDP4&wDP4D. That is 4means 4000horse power& 4D,a b c d is per letter 100HP plus add means 4D means 4400 HP.

Due to removal of alternator and addition of generator car for electricity generation which reduces the overall weight of the train rake

In future all disel locomotive will close only electric locomotives 😢
