Hi completely agree with you. Also thank you for video. I think creating kaggle profile is like "margherita pizza" without toppings, GitHub is messy similar to different types of topping & cheese, & we have to properly add on pizza (similar documentation) but , it adds real taste in pizza. Finally Own portfolio is tells how well chef you are in your cooking.

Ken: Git can be messy; also perfectly spreads tomato sauce on the dough :3 .. Finally we got to see some of ur cooking :) Tina was right you can cook damn good 💙 As for the kaggle vs github debate, I put my projects on my portfolio website, and I chose github over kaggle because of the production part of projects

I have a decent portfolio, a clean resume, and the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate with an MBA and 2 years as a financial analyst being advanced in Excel. I also have some visuals on my Tableau public. Still getting rejections left and right. But I will make it as a data analyst/scientist.

I think it is definitely possible with your background! Rejections are pretty common even with a good resume. How good is your network on linkedin etc. I find the best way to get to the interview stage is through your connections

Thanks as a beginner I am struggling with how to make my portfolio not to mention kaggle is already confusing ,I have done 2-3 projects, like should I make my own website, or kaggle or GitHub or everything, it is so confusing and time consuming 😣 Also while I am making project I think of taking notes but that is so time consuming I am already dealing with bugs, at the end I am confused what all should I put in readme I have done projects not made portfolio yet, mask detection, rasa chat bot and rl path finder

I was in the same boat as you it can be pretty confusing in the beginning. I'd recommend making notes. If you need to check something having notes can be pretty helpful

@@keeganfernandes9255 yes currently I am keeping a hardcopy like rough notes, mostly I do this to help me think about my project clearly as I can't think that well while typing, thanks for advice I see many people do this will start focusing more on it. Also I will be glad to check your portfolio if you can share

I would start with one. If you're doing projects not using kaggle data, github may be a good place to begin. Notes are highly recommended. I make mine mostly in comments in the code. After that I go back and organize them. In my project from scratch series I talk all about what goes in the readme! I think it is either the first or last video

I think initially using Kaggle and GitHub is good because many people are using and visiting it and which increases the possibility that more ppl can see your work... After that you can list your projects on your portfolio...
