Shadow of the Ninja, originally released in Japan as Yami no Shigotonin Kage (闇の仕事人 KAGE), and later released in Europe as Blue Shadow, is a 1990 futuristic ninja-themed side-scrolling action game by Natsume for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

This is a hack of Shadow of the Ninja (NES).
List of features, additions and changes:
1) No weapon power loss from being hurt or falling into pits. Weapon power resets when losing a life, however.
2) Ammo for bombs have been increased from 5 to 99.
3)Ammo for stars have been increased from 20 to 99!
4) Jump enhanced. Now the character can jump far and the jump control is more accurate.

No está nada mal el hack. Con el nuevo salto parece que da bastante juego, aunque quizás lo haga algo más asequible de entrada.

Además tienes opción de dirigir al personaje en el salto al tener este mayor alcance.
First-of-all, Nice Hack! I know this game is the one that is considered difficult. But, your life meter never seemed to decrease so much that you lose a life after this hack. Now it can be your skills. But still although I would want to make this game slightly easier. I don't want to remove the challenge. I would like to see this hack with the option to select BOMB and STARS ourself in the Menu or if that is not possible then 10 BOMBS instead of 5 and 40(30-50) stars instead of 20 might be a better option. The BOMBS are actually too powerful and really takes out the bosses too fast so let's keep the challenge a bit Fair. I would also like to see the jump tweak to be an option. While the better-controlled jump tweak is welcomed but the Jump farther part should be optional for the sake of keeping the gameplay closer to its original roots.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. I take note of them and will try in the future to develop an updated version of this hack to improve aspects that you tell me.
No está nada mal. El último hack de este juego que llegué a jugar fué el "Batman: Shadows of Gotham", que es una conversión total con sprites del Batman (the video.game) de NES. Ojála vayan saliendo más hacks porque este juego tiene mucho potencial.

El "Batman: Shadows of Gotham" está muy chulo, es un hack muy completo. El problema de "hackear" juegos como este es que hay bastante poca documentación del juego en si a nivel técnico por lo que para empezar a realizar un hack partes casi desde cero.
I was not able to get the hack to work. I tried 3 different roms. Which emulator are you using?

I have just try the patch again and the IPS works perfectly. I have tested the patched-rom in FCEUX and NESTOPIA. In the description of the download page you will find the full name of the ROM in which the PATCH should be applied.
