Aomine is like the Madara of this series with the way he's arrogant and gets even more excited when someone can challenge him. Madara said basically the exact same thing to Might Guy

But the thing is about madara is madara keeps training and is pretty smart. He knows he needs strength so he continues. Aomine gave up because he knew no matter what no one will be able to challenge him. But kagami is the classic example of "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard." And might guy failed though he came close Where as kagami succeeded.

Phantom's Wheel that’s not what happened at all. Seiren beat Touou. Aomine was clearly the superior player. After zone wore off Kagami couldn’t do anything against Aomine alone. He used his teammates where Aomine didn’t. Later in the tournament they play a practice one on one and Aomine crushed Kagami

the way aomine just keep on calling him a fate, a miracle, and he was the one making aomine get his smile back on the court...not to forget he lent him his shoes!!! that happened to be kagami's colour god it has been years after i finished this anime but i still ship these two HARD lol

I follow this anime because of Kagami I like him so much he is amazing and also kuroko they are best friends

I could watch this a million times and still manage to get chills each time...it's little scenes like these tht make me fall in love with the anime all over again

While that would be cool, it wouldn’t make sense. The zone is a heightened state of play, making you more noticeable, if kuroko were to enter then logically he would become more noticeable as well, which is the opposite of what he wants
