When I was in my English Literature class my teacher played this for us. I had a little epiphany. I had never realized the true comfort that I find in people. Just normal people. Strangers. The comfort that one finds in familiarity is known but we don’t often this of familiarity to be another human. Behind the curtain of lifestyle and thoughts and opinions is a human, just like me, just like you. We are all humans.

There are a select number of times in life where a performance rocks you to the core and blows you away in every sense. Thank you, Kate. You have made my life better for having heard this and I will now always listen to it to get inspired by its beauty and power. This is what art is really about. Medicine for the soul. I usually have existential trouble when I see comments on KZread videos lamenting the lack of likes and views on something they deem worthy. It's the conundrum of how good messaging through art is lost, and only commercialism wins. Like facing reality means we aren't allowed to dream. And then I cry to myself creating a quiet spectacle in public in a cafe on an especially frustrating day watching Kate Tempest really speak to her mesmerised audience and she preaches love and I look at the numbers and I say, "Yeah. There's still her, and a few of you. Make me believe again. All your faces, looking on in admiration at this valiant effort to love. Make me believe again." And I say grace. Fuck the numbers. You are few, yet you are plenty.
