This is ending part of a one piece (song) by Kadri. In a concert, in one piece the percussionists are allowed to show case their skill, one challenging other till they meet in a crescendo at which point the saxophone player joins in belting out the concluding lines.

I think it's the last section of a full video of Saxophone concert. I think the video started with a tani avartanam( A section in the performance for the percussion accompanists to show their prowess) and Sri Kadri Gopalnath finished it off beautifully in the end. You can check for his full concerts if you want to listen to him playing the sax.

This is going to be a long comment but I hope you read this Indi. What you noticed just now is a duel in Maths through music. At the start of the video Shri Hari (on Mridangam) starts playing big rhythmic numbers, like integers and Hemchandra numbers aka Fibonacci series. You can see that Shri Nakod (on Tabla) counting the numbers on his finger and looking across to Dr Kadri (on Sax) and Kumari Kanyakumari (on Violin). He was basically confirming his counting of these numbers through their finger movements. To understand how complicated it is at the start of the video when Shri Hari plays his solo, you can see them counting and the Shri Hari replicates it on his Tabla. We as average humans cannot remember even a phone number but Shri Nakod remembered the entire sequence. As they play along they come to the part of the video where they predict what the next equation/number is going to be and play together. This is super complex and comes through decades of practice. Imagine rapping in numbers and you expect a fellow rapper to recite the same numbers and predict your next move. And when Dr Kadri and Kumari Kanyaumari join in they do the same. This was basically, if I can say so a big flex on Integers, Maths. If you wish to know more then watch videos on Konokal numbers in Indian Music. Btw this is known as Jugalbandi and 90% of it is improvised on the spot.

Mridangam is mostly played in Carnatic and Tabla in Hindustani. However, there are few exceptions like this are seen as this concert is on Carnatic style...

The two middle instruments are indeed a tabla. Part of the reason they take a while to get to the saxophone is to establish rhythm. They're essentially tuning and getting into the mood. Each instrument gets to show off first before leading up to the orchestra of multiple instruments. Very different from western music in that regard yet similar.
