00:13:00 That saxophone music is played at every Indian award function.
This is ending part of a one piece (song) by Kadri. In a concert, in one piece the percussionists are allowed to show case their skill, one challenging other till they meet in a crescendo at which point the saxophone player joins in belting out the concluding lines.
Classical indian instruments are amazing 😍😍

You have given a classical treat for us. The drums played are on classical basis. For playing like this one had to learn so many years of training
Thanks indi for choosing this video.. love you from London
This is called thaniyavardhanam. The lady sitting on the right corner is A kanyakumari madam. She is a versatile women violinist and padmashree awardee She once gave a marathon perfomance for nearly 30 hours I have met her and been to her house. she is a very humble down to earth and quite active person

That little head bop she does at the start was so cute. Anyway, beautiful music!
Proud to be from his place Mangalore🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One the single elongated one is Mridang or dholak. The other with two pieces in the middle is the Tabla. Both are wonderful drums from India.
Caranatic music appeals right up to the core of my soul. Thank you for presenting these great musicians.
I felt like sneezing at the same moment 😳
Right most Kadri Gopinath is Master he is counting each one beats.
This musical is the first video I had favourited. It's an old video, amazing music.
Kadri ji a legend has left for his abode in the heavens. What a music maestro he was and a mesmerising artist.

And the legend's sax play in title music of the movie Duet and Nan Paadum Sandham song from the same movie. That's inhumane. Never saw someone even dared to try those tracks till date.
The middle guy is Ravindra Nakod and I personally know him. We are from the same city. His father is also a great tabla artist and mother is a singer.

FINALLY..... A taste of Typical South Indian CARNATIC music for our beloved INDI.... 🎼By the way, its a Mirudhangam on the left, Next is Tabla, then is Mr. Kadri Gopalnath with a Saxophone 🎼🎼
Dear indi who suggests you these videos. Extremely wonderful.
This women is blushing always 😂

It's too late to visit his concert because he has became a legend. RIP sir
First one is mridangam, the centre is tabla and the third is saxophone
Kadri gopalnath Barth place in Karnataka I proud Karnataka music and Karnataka cultural
This is called Thani-aavarthanam. This is the portion of the concert were the percussion instruments show there prowess.
The type of drums first one Mridangam, and the second one Tabla. This type solo playing by percussionists , violinist is called “ Thani Aavardhanam “ meaning each one of them is allowed space in a concert to showcase their talent. That’s how the whole concert is complete.
That was top notch video selection.
Wow i am learning new things too everyday thank you♥️
Vanakkam indi Rossi good information from you about India continue your lovely step thanks
😄 your reactions are priceless.
I think it's the last section of a full video of Saxophone concert. I think the video started with a tani avartanam( A section in the performance for the percussion accompanists to show their prowess) and Sri Kadri Gopalnath finished it off beautifully in the end. You can check for his full concerts if you want to listen to him playing the sax.
The left most horizontal dtum is Mrdangam a South Indian Carnatic instrument. Tfe second one with two drums is Tabla the North Indian Hindudtani instrument.
You have started with the last part of the song where the main artist which is the saxophone allows the percussionists to give a solo performance.
Your reactions are so sweet and nice. Not sure why you stopped making them. Hope you doing well and wish you all the very best with whatever you doing ..
This is going to be a long comment but I hope you read this Indi. What you noticed just now is a duel in Maths through music. At the start of the video Shri Hari (on Mridangam) starts playing big rhythmic numbers, like integers and Hemchandra numbers aka Fibonacci series. You can see that Shri Nakod (on Tabla) counting the numbers on his finger and looking across to Dr Kadri (on Sax) and Kumari Kanyakumari (on Violin). He was basically confirming his counting of these numbers through their finger movements. To understand how complicated it is at the start of the video when Shri Hari plays his solo, you can see them counting and the Shri Hari replicates it on his Tabla. We as average humans cannot remember even a phone number but Shri Nakod remembered the entire sequence. As they play along they come to the part of the video where they predict what the next equation/number is going to be and play together. This is super complex and comes through decades of practice. Imagine rapping in numbers and you expect a fellow rapper to recite the same numbers and predict your next move. And when Dr Kadri and Kumari Kanyaumari join in they do the same. This was basically, if I can say so a big flex on Integers, Maths. If you wish to know more then watch videos on Konokal numbers in Indian Music. Btw this is known as Jugalbandi and 90% of it is improvised on the spot.
It took ages for the Sax to come.... great one Indi
Whats' happening is from the later part of a concert. Its a space given for the percussion or accompanying instrucment artists to show their skills off. In Carnatic music, its called Thaniyaavarthanam & usually jugalbandi in Hindustani
He speaks through his Sax.... Legend
Wowwww 👌👌superrrr,,,, quality & amazing combination 😍😍
Marvellous !!!
Such performance are called "jugalbandi" which roughly translates to working in tandem. Each performers shows off their skill and sometimes it even turns into a competition of keeping up with each others skill and tempo.
Kadri gopalnath is famous for saxophone 🎷
Looking gorgeous... Love from India 😇😇
drums and tabla affect our base chakra aka muladhar which has two kinds of energies. when the energy moves up (positive) it brings interest in life. when the same energy moves down it leads to lethargy dullness and suicidal tendencies
Woww awesome reaction 😀🤩
Awesome reaction
Kadri gopalnath is pride of Karnataka
He is a legend.
Us video selection 👌👌 n many Indians don't know what is saxophone n the legends of Carnatic music
Indian music 🎼 .. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Power of indian music 😊✌️
The second one imitates the first player, on his instrument. Its called jugalbandi.
Mruthangam the king of indian classic drums..💪🏼💐👍🙏👏👌👌
What is happening is called thaniavarthanam. It is the rythmic conversation between mridangam and tabla. The korvai is what you heard kadri sir playing the sax.
Indi’s Indian head bobble so cute 💚
India incredible India
They are master of rhytms and music. Can't even see fingers only music is there.
That is God tier performance, they are Masters. Also please react to Anoushka Shankar Sitar performance.
Proud ro say that Kadri Gopalnath is from native place.
Hi INDI Congrats and good luck for your MAXIMs cover girl competition The moves of your head are really attractive and eye catching End every video saying JAI HIND
The late Shri Kadri Gopalnath is a genius and the best player of the sax...
Yes we accepted the sax in our music and we love it thanks.
Its ultimate Indi...
Awesome. The blue shirt artist was playing Tabla and the other guy was playing Mridangam. Part of Indian classical music heritage. Precisely called Carnatic and Hindustani music. Mridangam is mostly played in Carnatic and Tabla in Hindustani. However, there are few exceptions like this are seen as this concert is on Carnatic style...
The two middle instruments are indeed a tabla. Part of the reason they take a while to get to the saxophone is to establish rhythm. They're essentially tuning and getting into the mood. Each instrument gets to show off first before leading up to the orchestra of multiple instruments. Very different from western music in that regard yet similar.
The middle one is Tabla ! 😀😙
I too waiting to see listening to 🎷 of Kadri gopalanath sir
Awesome vedio mem ....Love from india
Love you Indi! Parts of tabla piece reminded me of song: 'Kajra Re' featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan
Is it some kind of drum battle at the start? The guy in blue shirt gives some hilarious faces during the first set.
The blue outfit guy is on a Tabla.Indi you got it right.
What they're doing is called Jugal Bandi. Jugal a joint venture.
He is a king in that.
Indi I like your Bharatanatyam head movement!!!!!
Jay ho.
Yes you are right... the middle one is tabla..:)
Proud to be an indian🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Rip master kadri 🎷
So nice 👍👏😊
Ahh I love my India ( Indi yeah )
The first instrument is called Mridangam(South Indian style of drums), the one with 2 drums is called tabla(North Indian style of drums)
