Kachina Carving
Kachina is a culture which can best represent the Native Americans in Southwestern United States. The Kachina is a symbol of spirits or the simulacra of everything in the real world, from ancestors to a concept. The Hopi Kachina Dolls are carved in the form and concept as such and are used to educate children the ways of life, thus the spiritual faith and carving technique may come into heritage. They show us the unique outlook on life and cosmology of Hopis.

i miss my uncle Watson he was such an inspirational person and has been there all the way I love you uncle RIP❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am deeply moved by this whole process and wish to follow this path in my own art. Your spiritual connection to the earth is so clear and palatable, it left me very inspired.
These are beautiful
Beautifl and hard job~~ Nice!!!!
A few years ago I was so inspired by the beauty and meaning of the Kachina dolls that I started carving them for myself. I put a lot of love into each one and they are in my personal collection, never to be sold.

@@ace3303 I will carve Kachina dolls all I want. Why do you have an issue with it? I'm not selling them and I don't claim to be a Native American.

My Father use to carve Kachina dolls, he passed away and found all his accessories (Tools) to include an assorted amount of Kachinas not painted. If you would be interested would love to have someone who appreciate them.

The library will have several books, in particular one by Harold S. Colton, Hopi Kachina Dolls with a Key to their Identification.
Who is Hopi

Hopi isn't a person it's a people a tribe
I can't hear a darned word he's saying because of the moronically loud music drowning out his voice.
