It’s a term thats been thrown around for a while, especially since Sturgill Simpson hit the scene a few years ago, but it is somewhat apt here. In the 60’s musicians such a Gram Parsons called their 100% country work Cosmic American Music, so it’s kind of an extension of that. Another musician who is just as country as Kacey is on this album is Jenny Lewis’ solo records, especially Acid Tongue. Great stuff. What is extremely interesting, not to mention beautiful to watch, is the relation between all of these emerging country artists who tossed the stereotypes out and experimented with psychedelics and the incredible rise in the quality of country music in small pockets the past few years.

I think Kacey breathes new life into a territory left unclaimed by artistss that went into say, more popular avenues. The fact she is truthful and unapologetic about her use of overall safe chemicals that don't cause deviant behavior, the inspire. Kacey is connected to a higher conciousness. Call it GOD. This is the most incredible mesmerizing song I have ever heard. Took me to places I haven't been in years.

saw kacey on grammy's last year.. did not pay much attention.. until like last 2 weeks after learning more about her song writing skills.. listen to her several music videos. I conclude.. she don't belong here at this time..she is like trapped in the 60s-70s.. where music stay truth to its roots. It must be her family or background that been nurturing her and made who she is now..

When you sing "neon glow" it gives me goosebumps. It's so beautiful. Your voice is like heaven 💖 fan from India 🇮🇳

Grammy winner best album not just in country but overall.Reminds me of the mysteries of our universe and where we stand in this great planet. Scientific in terms of bioluminescence relations in deep sea creatures or aquarium neon tetras as well as mind altering-expanding plants like peyote, plus magnetosphere interactions with the solar winds causing Aurora borealis which reminds me of David Attenborough documentaries planet earth and blue planet.

Her songs make me feel happy

Whenever I want to stir up some emotions and imagination, I play this song over and over. So calming and lovely.... What a great album!

I wasn't into country either but about 2012/2013 Keith Urban, Tswift, Cassadee Pope, and Michelle Branch sparked me into country music but from realizing now country has some how evolved into pop rock more likely and so I guess that why I have a heart for pop rock country music/country pop as well

This is a great intro to country song for Daft Punk/techno fans. Fantastic vibes in this one.

I remember years ago when I heard same trailer different park on the radio and I thought it was Miranda Lambert and I said to myself man country music is getting good. Then i found out it was this new artist kacey musgraves and I was really impressed. Been a fan ever since. the lyrics are so clever and real, the instruments, voice, melodies, heart, and soul, and of course she's gorgeous. Country radio is stupid for not playing her music cuz it's great music!
