thanks for valuable information, otherwise some co.selling plastic tubs in approx Rs Rs 5k for minimum sizes which has got nothing extra except 2 tubs,one having tap to collect liquid. and they are interested to make u permanent customer inorder to sell some bacterial powder,for early decomposition. which u have done with our free jugad of curd and gud/jugglery

Very easy to prepare

Insert a small plastic tap into the hole drilled at the bottom of the tub. The liquid fertilizer/tea that oozes out from the shredded kitchen waste can be collected regularly and preserved in a five-litre can. Dilute this tea with water in the ratio of 1:4 and fertilise your plants at least twice a month. You can pour one litre of this diluted fertiliser for medium-sized shrubs, more for bigger ones and less than half a litre for potted plants. Keeps the plants healthy. Happy Gardening.

Without soil, it is not possible...thodi mitti to daalni hi padti hai. .otherwise sabjiyo se nikalne wala ras kaise adjust hoga..wo to saara baher nikal k waste ho jayega

I tried this but it took 4 months to make complete fertiliser and that also when I added soil. I thought it will become in 1 month but it didn't happen in even 2 months then I had to put soil. Then it decomposed. The decomposition had started after adding all that to the waste but the process stopped from middle. Answer me why this happened?

If your decomposition stopped chances are it got too dry, or the conditions were bad for microbial growth. Soil restarted the process because it reintroduced microbes into the half decomposed material. In any case, it won't be ready before atleast 3 months. If you want to do it faster I would suggest using Essential microbes and making a paste out of all your kitchen waste and then putting it for composting. Also in the future you can always try doing it in layers, ie, brown material(paper, cardboard, cocopeat), inoculant(soil, compost, EM) and then green material(kitchen waste). Good formula for any type of composting. Will still take atleast 2 months though

Can we set this composte in the sunlight to store. Can we plant only in this composte without adding soil.

Cement ya brick block ko 1 inch pani ke bartan mai rakho.uss ke upar apna khad ka container rakho.Cheeti rokne ka uparvale ne bas ek hi tarika diya hai baki chemical's se to kuch faida hi nahi hoga.

You can but it will take a lot of time because it releases methane more than kitchen waste. Instead use worms in cowdung to make vermicompost.

What's not shown or brought up by viewers is - how did he get a 50 liter bucket full of waste on day 1 itself? How do we collect this much from one kitchen ? Do we first collect waste for a few days? will that not cause smell both in collection bin and final decomposition bucket?? Or should we add daily collection directly to the processing bucket???
