Kabukicho: Tokyo's Red Light District | 外国人の彼女が新宿、歌舞伎町に大興奮 [KS VLOG]
Kabukicho - you might not have heard the name before, but you've definitely seen photos of it, and potentially even been there! It is the entertainment district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, home to the famous Godzilla head, karaoke bars, izakayas, and some slightly more suspicious looking places. Come with me as my Japanese Husband gives us local insight through the nightlife and busy streets of wonderful Kabukicho.

We are a Japanese-Serbian AMWF couple - today we're in Tokyo! Join us as we spend 24 hours exploring Shinjuku, visiting Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho, go drinking in an izakaya, sing karaoke, play at an arcade, and walk through the sketchy streets of Kabukicho at 2am at night!
We'll also share some knowledge about common scams and tourist traps to be aware of, so make sure to watch until the end of the video!

Can I just say this? I think when you live in Japan as a foreigner, as I have, everything is done with a little moderation. The Japanese go all out when it’s time to drink. But their behavior when they are drunk does not get out of hand as some foreigners do when they drink. And when people are visiting Japan for a short period, sometimes that is the number one activity. Drinking.
