How would you go about replacing the knob/handle if it broke off?

Im having the same issue described by Mr. Collins latch will fully retract from the interior side of door but from the locking side of door it will only partially retract.

where can I buy the tool (spanner or spinner) you mention on video?

so at the end do you have to use the tool to click back the combination sleeve ?

What is the key blank used for the override on this model ?

Should be a video on how to do that as well

what do i do if i dont have the combination?

I have an issue that I'm dealing with. Same lock set - latch only retracts partially. I've torn it down and looked for any clues but found none. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Tobias Collins if that was happening either something was jammed in the hub mechanism or something was broken

can i change the handle position,or do i have to buy a lockset that comes with the handle in the desired position that i want

Look up... how to open these with a magnetic. Have a look. It works.

This is mad late, but if the model is older, I think pre 2010, or at the very least hasn’t been upgraded with the upgrade kit that was offered because of this design flaw, you can use a very powerful magnet and put it on the side of the lock and it will pull the lock open. However most nowadays are either newer ones or have the upgraded stainless steel plate on them which fixes this flaw

WTF... Why so complicated? I didn't know mechanical ciphers exist... in a form of a lock for doors. I've thought about them a few days ago, then checked to see if they exist, 'cause in the fuckin' country where I live they sure don't, never seen them. Anyways... why so complicated? Make'em more simple, and just as safe -- even safer. And smaller! And better looking.
