Got a 7th gen Civic ES1 myself, stock though. Glad to see this being a platform for some builds now
Man I had a 01 LX coupe when they first came out, and remember being kinda pissed that they didn’t get the support that the ek/EG chassis did. So cool seeing people showing the 7th gen love. Subscribed.

Why did you have to switch off Hondavert? Im planning something like this and i thought using Hondavert would allow the vss to work properly
I’m buying a 2000 Honda civic for a run around car tomorrow until I finance a ford ranger 4x4 wildtrack once I get that I’ll keep the Honda and try to k-swap it and put a turbo in there

Is the ES7 D16V1 engine gonna be any difference when doing a K swap?

- Driver side : Original door panel customized -Passenger side : Acura EL door panel -RSX type s dash -8th gen SI Seats -Rear EL leather Seats -Most interior trims were painted

I asked about getting my s2k swapped with a Ktype or f22 engine. The guy said “I don’t know who would even do that.” BS of course he knows but I only questioned it bc I thought my engine was fucked

No you need to use a k series transmission

How about the front subframe sir? Will the stock d17 subframe will fit? Or do some sligth mod on it?

Did you guys have trouble putting the shifter cables in? Literally the last thing I need to get my car running 🥹 Whenever I put the cables in, I can’t put it into any gear is there a specific way of putting cables in? Using after market rsx cables 🫶🏼

We use oem rsx cables & it fits like an rsx would, make sure you have the right cables
