I saw this video today while considering what kind of ski I actually want. This really helped me this video to understand that it’s a great all rounder ski. But right now I’m 14 and only 165 cm and wanna buy my own skis in like 2 years. Would you think at that point I should still consider a new version of this ski? But right now if I would buy skis I would definitely buy these skis because of this video

Awesome, thanks for watching. It's a great ski. My son skis on Line Sir Francis Bacon shorty. It's 143cm in length and it's nice and fat under foot (106) you should check out that ski.. he's your age. I got some videos you can find of him skiing. 👍🤙

I'm 181 skiing the 184 but I do like skiing tight bumps so the 184s are perfect. I think 170 would be spot on unless you prefer longer more stable ride. These reckoners are pretty playful. 👍

@@NoProDad Cool, thank you. I read that the midsole mark is about 4-5 cm from true center. Do you think that makes it harder to ski in the park/switch or is it still enjoyable? Thanks!

@@mjfaak no actually landing switch or riding switch feels solid at midpoint. Also feel like that shorter tail makes it so much better in the bumps. There for the longer nose feels awesome in deep pow. Hope that helps! 🤙👍

So I'm 79 and 180cm and I ski 184. The 177 would be nice in tight trees but the 184 is just as good. If I was little shorter and lighter I would go for the 177. Hope that helps. 👍🤙

Reckoner 112 came with two mount points: the -5.5 cm “midsole” line and -3.5 cm “team” line. So I went with midsole.. still pretty center stance for riding switch, and still very balanced in the air but less tail when skiing big bumps. I love skiing bumps on these 112's. Also I get less nose dive when skiing in pow little further back -5.5cm. But if you ride switch as much as you do frontside then i go for sure with "team" -3.5 cm.. Hope this helps, regardless of mount I bet you will be pretty happy!
