Great music.. so mature..he should have restricted the taniavartanam to just 15 mts. It has to be crisp and proportional. I think he should have kept a younger mridangam artiste who would live in the same sphere. Sangeetha kalanidhi awardee does not give Inherent right to mridangam artiste go out of proportion.

Agree with the mridangam. It is louder than vocal. Agree with the length of Tani. But imagine the amount of scintillation it transferred to the younger mridangists??

The mridhangist has to follow the singer n not dominate. The original concept of ' pakka-vaadhyam ' has to be respected n maintained.

Fully agree with you Sir. Mridangam was jarring rather than supportive. Most reputed person in the concert was the weakest performer. As a fellow mridangam artiste, Mudra Bhaskar ji, please drop the hint to Bhaktavatsalam master.

Very good padantharam to K vishnudev nice selection of kritis. Mirdangam is too SOUND and his Layam always oversees the main artists.He always does this to main artists to spoil their lyrical & singing abilities, Akilandeswari in dhwjawanti is pleasant soft kriti is ruined by Mirdangam by his rude strokes, where is divinity??Thaniyavardhanam is played by him throughout the concert for all kritis and he took a LONG time for this is intolerable . Mirdangam vidwan should respect the main artist irrespective of age and he should give appropriate time for other accompanied artist to play Ghatam. It's not a RACE it's a concert to Devotion to god. I condemn the organiser to look into and do justice to carnatic music
