Forcing a person to always be considered bummed over their situation is very offensive to the person themselves.

It was a cultural festival put on at the base. Different squads put on performances for fellow soldiers, family, base personnel. It's not what they are doing daily. 🙄 They all have regular military jobs.

There’s something about them dancing just for joy and peer entertainment (not for a ticketed show/concert) seem much more relaxed and fluid - their slight body rolls are so smooth. I can’t be the only thinking the army is better for these boy’s mental health than kpop idol management agencies 😅

@@Kimtaegi36 Yes. Many members have served even before they have turned 30, especially from 2nd & 3rd gen kpop groups. Also groups like ONF, Pentagon, A.C.E., EXO, VAV, Astro, Golden Child etc. There are Korean actors too who have served before they turned 29/30. It's a personal choice to enlist whenever they want from 18-30 years.

@@alemazzo3006 and look at ZE:A - Kim Dongjun is discharging Jan 2023 - I think he's the last one - the band went on hiatus about 2017 and scattered military service and solo careers - they have never disbanded - supposedly waiting for all to complete their service to do a comeback. Will be interesting to see what happens this year - Kim Dongjun, Park Hyung Sik and Im Siwan have all been fairly active acting before and after their service - and Kevin probably came back to Australia during the pandemic

Their body gestures and the dancing, the steps and the flow is all in so sync .. it's quite next level

I agree, many hate the army and some, especially certain europeans think of soldiers as murderes or murderer wannabes.. But military strength is essential, for any country, the russian ukrainian war has shown, that "soldier" is not necessarily equivalent to "evil". I think much of the world got tired of the glorification of military might, discipline and honor of the past.. but turns out, those things are indeed important. Credit, where credit is due. Not too much, ofc.. but also not too little

It is not tradition, it's something they have to do because the relationship with NK is still very unstable. Also, as a personal note.... I think war is something that should never happen and idk why dying for these conflicts is considered an honor, it's just plain sad that people die just because a few humans have crazy ambitions. I wish everyone could live their lifes without caring about being prepared for a war.

Idols aren’t the only ones bringing in a lot of money, many businesses probably are very successful. And idk much about s.k but it must have its fair share of tourism from ppl who aren’t interested in kpop

I can see inseong dancing and youngbin standing behind like a proud mom 😍

The idols depicted in the clips are SF9‘s oldest member Inseong, who enlisted in March and joined the military band, and ONF members E-Tion and J-US, who enlisted with their Korean bandmates in December 2021. Other idols seen in the clips are Spectrum’s Jongchan and dancer Kim Namwook.

​@@user-kk1ci2nm7qнеизвестно что будет ещё в Корее . Вон америкосы разжигают войну между Северной и Южной Кореей и Тайванем . В общем сами за лужей сидят ,а всех стравливают . Для них китайцы ,корейцы и мы русские не люди ,а так рабы . Южная Корея вся в американских базах и там 40 тысяч натовских солдат . В общем мир очень не стабилен . Так что южная Корея тоже в опасности .
