I think the counterparts of exo k & m are: Kris - Chanyeol ~ main rappers Baekhyun - Chen ~ main vocals D.O. - Luhan ~ lead vocals Xiumin - Suho ~ vocals Lay - Kai ~ main dancers/vocals Tao - Sehun ~ lead dancers/lead rappers Some people say it's D.O and Chen but after listening to most of their songs, both in Korean and mandarin, Baek and Chen have the same parts while D.O and Luhan have the same parts in their respective groups.

I almost cried when I saw Luhan in the beginning

To be honest, I prefer the Mandarin version more than the Korean. Sure, the korean version sounds more pleasing because we are all used to music and dramas in korean. If it were vice versa where we were all listening to mandarin music and dramas, we would have prefered the m version of exo. Since I personally love Chinese dramas more than korean ones, I find Exo-m to be slightly better.

I bet you already know the concept of MAMA by now, but I still wanna explain it to give me justice. xD EXO is the Tree of Life, and they get separated, then EXO-K and EXO-M appears. Then, as the narration says, each have their own counterparts. You'll know who's who because of the interactions at the MV. And the counterparts are: Kris - Chanyeol (both main rappers) Chen - D.O. (both vocalists) Tao - Sehun (both maknaes of the group) Xiumin - Suho (both oldest in the group) Baekhyun - Lay (both vocalists, too??? not quite sure about this tbh) Kai is the one teleporting around, and Luhan is the one foreshadowing the whole EXO, so even from their debut song, you'll see that Kai and Luhan is different. Even in their next comeback songs, they are the "main" protagonists of the MVs.

how hilarious is it that the tile of this vid is "k-pop reaction" and yet it's EXO-M, aka MANDARIN

I know it doesnt make any sense now....but I like Exo M version more because my bias is Kris and he is from ExoM but I like the whole Exo group....including Kris luhan and Tao...even they are no longer in the group for me they are always OT12😀😀

the beginning was the story on how they started and the song mean that the world is so bad because people don't care and people became heartless and have no mind of there own. So the pray to "MAMA" who is a higher god to change the world back and so in the video they have a sreaming part and the speed running dance. there you go and i love watching your videos :)

The concept is being in different spaces but at the same time kinda like mirror images of each other hence the similar looking scenes from both vids and interactions of the members in each others vids.

The 2 sub-groups of EXO are singing about their dissatisfaction at the evil that has overcome the world and the evil that caused them 2 create 2 separate worlds However, they aren't completely separate worlds They are 2 halves of a whole, they bear similarities because they have 2 stay in some sort of balance The 12 powers previously worked together in order 2 create harmony in the tree of life Now that they are split, maintaining the balance by having their 2 worlds become similar to each other

Ive been a fan of kpop since DBSK debuted.. I Love both Exo and im a Korean Mixed but only speak english and mandarin

The intro is confusing but I believe it means: In the past there was one tree (like in wolf , they made a tree) , but something happen and the tree broke into two (also in wolf, the two trees in the mv) ^^
