Updated Jimin info that some aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! Jimin has said that his album is a chronological journey through his feelings and emotions from the pandemic. He got inspiration from the movie "Like Crazy", and the talking in the beginning and the end of the video are actually from the movie. This song is Jimin telling you how he distracted himself from his feelings during the pandemic "Please don't save me" "don't you try to wake me" "I want to stay in this dream". and the mudd you see in the beginning on the floor, then coming down the walls, and on his hand in the end, represents his feelings of being stuck in a situation he can't get out of (pandemic). Jimin wrote his album and was verey involved in the production process, and actually came up with melodies, if you watch his production diary you will actually see it. He stayed at his producers house until he was done with the album (EP). JIMIN is very talented, just like all seven members, and they have all released solo projects, and will continue to until they come back from the military. RM and J-hope actually released two albums. And SUGA went on a world tour. He was the first member of the group to do that. All of them have been killing the charts and winning awards individually since they officially debuted. Jimin's song Like Crazy went #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and so did Jungkook's song Seven. SUGA and RM have both gotten #1 on the top rap albums chart on Billboard. and J-Hope won an award for his first docuemntary J-Hope in the Box at iHeart music awards for Favorite On Screen. And V has won Favorite Debut Album at iHeart radio awards. that's just a few awards. there are many others. So please do react to their solo work. We love it.

This track is from Jimin's album Face, all the tracks deal with his feelings during the covid pandemic. His voice is unique. All the guys sound very different to BTS when they do solo projects. They are all capable of being solo stars. All the songs from this album are very listenable, my favourite is Letter, very intimate like he is singing it just for me. Jimin's solos in BTS are Lie, Serendipity, Filter, Promise and also the lovely OST from a couple of years ago With You.

I love Jimin so much, he is my favorite artist of all time, his voice, his dancing and his charms on and off stage captivated me for 7 years now, he is an extremely talented and hard-working man, on his first solo album Face where his main song is Like crazy, he himself was involved in all aspects of its production and managed to become the first Asian artist to have #1 on the billboard hot 100 with this beautiful song, Jimin creates pure masterpieces and now we are All his global fans are so excited to know that he will release his second solo album MUSE this July 19, this news couldn't be more incredible, thank you very much for this fun reaction.

Jimin's solo songs are really cool, and very different. It's tough to pick a favorite... perhaps "Lie". But honestly, he's got so many great songs. He even has a song called Promise which is only on Soundcloud, but it's the most streamed song on Soundcloud (330m+ views) which makes me feel at ease - BTS gives us gifts on Soundcloud with free songs. I have to say I LOOOVE "Set Me Free pt 2", but I think you should wait with this. It's a fire track, but it sounds like you need to hear how diverse their catalogue is before watching this, to fully appreciate it. Like, I'd recommend songs from RM's (of BTS) new album Right Place Wrong Person.

Don't forget RM from BTS. He's a rapper, the leader of the group and a true lyricist/poet (the main song writer of BTS). He released a new album not even a month ago. It's very different, certainly for K-POP. A bit alternative and a very disturbed sound in some of the songs. The album is called 'Right place, wrong person' and it's about him feeling out of place and his journey of self discovery (finding his authentic self again and finding out what he wants in life). The songs 'Lost', 'Come Back to me', 'Domodatchi' (meaning Thank you friend in Japanese), 'Groin' and 'Nuts' have a music video. The first 2 look like shortfilms. Bookish theories has an explanation video for the first 2 songs and Asian entertainment and culture has one for 'Domodatchi'. Maybe you can watch them after you've watched the music video. Most of the songs from BTS and their solo work have a deeper meaning. You can find an explanation video for them on the KZread channels 'Bookish theories' or 'dkdtv'.

Like crazy is an amazing song

I think "melancholy" makes perfect sense with this song and that's probably what he intended. This album is about his thoughts and his struggle during the pandemic, how he coped, etc. I think this song and MV can easily give a sense of "I'm lonely so I'm going to go surround myself with people and fun and it's great in the moment but in the end that doesn't fix it and I'm still alone."
